I bought this for my partner. He absolutely loves it! Everytime he uses it he mentions how good it is. The only thing he has said, is that he's surprised there's no kamado logo stamped on the product. But it works well, and because he likes the bbq gadgets I bought him, he cooks more! Winner winner!

Received the item and it’s dinged, looks worn and definitely not Kamado Joe. I own one, bought this wanting to complete the pair and this looks like a piece of junk.

Great for taking out small dishes from the oven that are hard to get out with pot holders. Strong, sturdy and washes easily in the dishwasher.

Exactly like the one that came with my Classic Joe. I wanted to have two of these grippers to be able to lift the whole cooking rack (not only the grates) and these will do the job just fine.

Works well on the Weber Charcoal Summit, however, the weight of the grill is getting to the limit with which the Lifter will take without bending. Bending is an issue others have reported, so some care is required. At this price, I would buy again but may investigate welding grip plyers with wide jaws.

I purchased two of these for my charcoal grill with stainless grates. One of them bent on the first use and no longer closes all of the way. It's not an issue for moving grates, but it makes them useless for grabbing grill pans, etc.Otherwise they have a good feel in the hand and appear to be well constructed.
