Perfect fit. Took less than a minute to assemble to the vacuum. Both ends matched up with the existing connections.It may be a little shorter than the original hose, but nothing to worry about, it's plenty long enough.It's not as heavy duty as the original, but it is a replacement after all. I'd say with due care it will last long enough.The only problem I have with it is that it does not have the vent on the attachment end that releases some of the suction. That is a bit of a problem because of the strong suction of the Shark vacuum. I couldn't find any replacement hose that had that vacuum release vent.I'm still trying to find a work-around to fix that detail.Other than that one thing, I reduced 1 star for that item, the replacement hose seems to be worth the money.

I purchased this to replace my current hose. While the product is of the highest quality, the original hose ends were made into the original hose, I literally had to tear them off of the hose which made attaching the new hose a problem. I ultimately ended up using super glue to attach the new hose to the original hose ends. It works but what an ordeal to get the old hose unattached. So make sure the hose end fittings will come loose from the old hose.

I didn't realize for a while that my old hose on my Shark vacuum had somehow split in the seam and even though my vacuum still worked fine, I did not have the suction power. But once I discovered the split, I ordered a replacement hose, it was easy to install and what a difference. The suction is so much better and has made my vacuuming much easier!

The tube works, just upset with the suction loss from the connector ends, where the flexible bit goes into their plastic housing. I can hear it the first time I used it has held up well enough to get the house clean enough, even when stored in cold temperatures.
