Your cart is empty.QUICK OVERVIEW: Some don't like the auto idle stop system for annoyance. Others don't like it because of the added wear on the engine, starter and battery. Lastly, some have safety issues from being stranded at an intersection when their car didn't restart. We have made the Idlestopper for everyone who loves their vehicle and doesn't want the daily reminder of having to turn off the idle stop system. After installed, the system will set to OFF by default at every startup. You can still, at any time, turn the system back on when desired by simply pressing the idle stop button. No matter the setting that was last used, the Idlestopper will always default the system off.

...to keep the idlestop feature off - unless I choose to enable it. Works like a charm.Instructions on YouTube were easy to follow. Be sure to use plastic dash panel pry tools to remove the console panels without damaging them.

Install took 30-40 minutes to avoid breaking or scratching anything. Straight forward after watching a few videos online. The plastic pry tool they provided chipped when undoing console. The 2025 Sport was a little different from all the videos cause there's a Philips screw holding the front part of the center console. I was able to remove the power connector without completely removing either part of the center console by positioning them more towards driver side and accessed the power from the passenger side seat. I also didn't have to unplug the e-brake connector. Glad to be rid of having to push the Idle stop/start button everytime I start the car or after being reminded at the first intersection it shuts down. Worth every penny IMHO.

I got this because I purchased a Dongar power adapter for my dash cam and every time I was at an intersection and the idle stop/start would kick in, my dash cam would lose power and I'd have no footage of going thru intersections till the cam finished booting up (approx 10-15 seconds). This auto start stop should be optional from the factory and I appreciate that this adapter exists, but it's 4 times as expensive as other car manufacturers and I'm not sure why. It's a good kit, but 100 + for something other manufacturers can pay 25$ for hurts just to disable a silly feature . Anyhow no idea how well it works as I haven't driven around yet but I did turn the car on after installing and after about 10 seconds the off light appeared. The install video was well explained and I got the item installed in about 10 minutes. Installed on a 2021 passport elite

I am very happy that I’ve got this product. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but they don’t operate the way that this one does. This one is connected to a power source so it makes it safer for your vehicle. I was a little bit nervous when pulling the plastics off of my brand new car, but it wasn’t as hard as I thought. The video showing the install makes it very easy. This product greatly reduces wear on the engine since the majority of engine wear occurs from the engine turning on and off. I’m sure it will also give me an extra year at least on my battery since my battery is not having to work so hard and I’m sure it’s going to extend the life of the engine tremendously!
