Your cart is empty.QUICK OVERVIEW: Some don't like the auto idle stop system for annoyance. Others don't like it because of the added wear on the engine, starter and battery. Lastly, some have safety issues from being stranded at an intersection when their car didn't restart. We have made the Idlestopper for everyone who loves their vehicle and doesn't want the daily reminder of having to turn off the idle stop system. After installed, the system will set to OFF by default at every startup. You can still, at any time, turn the system back on when desired by simply pressing the idle stop button. No matter the setting that was last used, the Idlestopper will always default the system off.

This is an excellent product that performs exactly as advertised. I have a 2022 Honda Passport. The Auto Idle Stop feature is literally the only negative. After installation it performs flawlessly. After starting and a time delay of about 5-7 seconds, the dashboard icon comes on showing AIS has been turned off. If you want to turn it back on for some insane reason, you can.The installation video on YouTube was nearly perfect. I had two minor problems. First, i had a few seconds of trouble lifting the silver plastic console. It turns out that that there are two horizontal plastic edges located within millimeters - the silver plastic console and the black plastic edge of the center storage compartment. I didn’t realize the problem at first because the silver plastic overhangs the black plastic. I didn’t realize i was lifting the wrong plastic edge. The second problem was removing the power connector that is located deep down in the console with the upside down connector. With my thick, stiff fingers it took a while before i was able to successfully disconnect it. Someone with thin fingers would have no problem. (Rent a neighborhood kid?) Patience and resilience. Once it was disconnected, i was done in about 2 min.

If you’re looking at this product, don’t hesitate to purchase. It’s extremely well constructed, the instructions are super clear and it performs flawlessly. The auto start stop button still functions like the factory intended. While the interface automatically switches off the auto stop feature, if you desire you can simply press the auto stop start button to re-engage the feature. Not that we would, but it’s nice to know it’s there. I highly recommend this product

no more headaches with annoying engine shutoff. no more safety problem when engine shuts off while waiting to make a left turn into traffic, you have a small window, step on the gas, then have to wait those couple of seconds while the engine cranks. this switch was extremely easy to install in a 2023 Honda Ridgeline. I am not good with wiring harnesses and taking modern cars apart, but this was a breeze. It works perfectly. Would buy again, if I needed another.

I had to get my Ridgeline services three times over 3 years due to the idle stop system. It caused a battery failure, multiple firmware updates, valve timing to be adjusted and the starter to get replaced. Having your vehicle not restart in traffic is really horrible and I was about to just sell the truck. After the last go-round or repairs, as the warranty was expiring, I bought one of these.It works perfectly, is easy to install, and allows the idle stop to be reenabled if I ever wanted to do that.Highly highly recommended.Update after one year:This thing is great. It’s been in my truck for a year now, and it has worked flawlessly. 100% reliability. It’s eliminated all of the issues with starter and battery wear.An interesting note on fuel consumption : I use a ScanGauge 3 in my truck to track engine performance and gas mileage with very high precision. With my driving patterns (mostly suburban surface streets with some freeway) I saw ZERO change in fuel economy using this thing. I would guess it probably saves me around two dozen or more idle stop restarts a day.So, really, at the end of the day the only downside is the light on your dash showing idlestop it’s turned off all the time. I HIGHLY recommend this device. It’s almost guaranteed to save you money (like THOUSANDS!!) in the long term.

Works as they said and push the button for you. No more pushing the button after your first stop when the car turns off! This is the most annoying feature on the cars and I think it will damage your car more than it has benefit for it. Installation is easy but strongly recomand to watch the youtube video first as it explain clearly how to open the consule.

First of all I need to say the most annoyng thing about driving my 2018 Honda pilot is this idle stop "feature".1. I have a limited sight distance driveway with 55 mph traffic on a two lane road. When I press the gas pedal I need the car to move and move fast so I don't cause an accident and kill someone. I frequently forget to shut off the idle stop feature with the button, it's annoying. Not anymore. Now I won't die or kill someone just leaving my driveway!2. Stop signs are the bane of my existence because I actually stop at all of them. When I do the engine shuts off and then I press the gas pedal at the appropriate time to go again my car doesn't move for another 2-3 seconds while it starts up again and then starts to go.This causes dangerous siutuations because other people start to drive through the intersection out of sequence. With idle stopper, I can now drive like a normal human being through stop signs at intersections and actually stay safer.The installation was as easy as it gets only two screws to remove under the mat, pop off the plastic part turn it over plug it in and put eerything back. I was done in 3 minutes and it works perfectly. Thank you for the amazing v2 version. If this breaks I would definitely buy it again to drive safe.
