I think you should get rid of the paper gasket and replace it with the rubber original rubber type that seals the groves between and on each end of the intake mounting surface for a better seal. I used the old seal

They are the only ones that function just like the motorcraft ones. The delphi used to be good, but they switched OEMs and then no longer functioned correctly.

I like a lot of the items I order, but I DO NOT WANT TO BE RATING ANY ORDERS! I like Amazon a lot because it saves me a lot of driving around to find things and I have been getting good products at a decent prices. For the most I have not had any issues getting a defective or a broken down item replace!!! I am a night owl big time and work on a lot of things and cars; and at 70 years I keep myself very busy! Thank the GOOD LORD for my good health! It helps when you are surrounded by great neighbors! I am blessed to be well liked and sometimes admired by my never giving up drive at my age. GOD BLESS US ALL!!!
