Tried 4 pieces, different angles, different impact and velocity forces could not trigger.Forcing spring contact to center post worked, but the spring resistance prevent operation with light, medium, hard and destructive impact to switch or even 4-direction mounted PCB.

These are small, approx 1/8" dia and 5/8 above the solder point. Be very careful with heat as clear cylinder will collapse. As stated these require considerable vibration to make contact. I am not sure the solder joint would survive the force needed to make contact repeatedly. these are not sealed but rather open on one end. I attached leads and then covered with heat shrink to keep dirt out. Strictly hobby stuff.
