I use for sanding fine detail. Take a piece of sand paper alittle bigger than slit, about 3/4 inch long. Then put a strip of double tap on it, it must be very thin stuff you use for sticking wood together that wood turners use. Peel off the surface place in the groove of the mandrel wrap it around and you’re ready to use, tape keeps it from flying unraveling, run at slow speed.

I use a Dremel to sand my wood carvings and needed something small to get into those tight spaces, these work great for that. My only problem is that out of the five Mandrels two where useless, one didn't have the split cut and the other one was cut crooked. overall a good product, just needs better quality control.

I've used these in the past, professional grade, so I knew what to expect. What I got was definitely a disappointment. Half of the mandrel's had their grooves cut off centre. The steel was poor quality and weak. Be advised.

I love this 5-pack sandpaper Mandrel, I have an abundance of sandpaper and use scissors to cutoff small squares from the sandpaper rolls can easily change them when working from a low grit to higher grit. 10/10 recommend the small shaft diameter allows you to get closer to the workpiece and work on the fine details

I like that there are 6 pieces included. I used this with strips of drywall sandpaper to clean up casting flaws on some aluminum cylinder heads and it worked fairly well.
