I wasted hours debugging circuits till I finally tested the speaker. And then another speaker. Even plugging them into the 8 ohm speaker output of my Kenwood TS-590SG and turning the volume all the way up, I could barely hear anything. I'd give these less than one star but at least I can return them.

These are exactly as expected and as advertised. They have a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, which is what most small amplifier circuits expect.

All six speakers arrived in a single plastic baggie, stuck together by their magnets, meaning five out of six of the cones were/are creased or deformed. They're cheap and nasty plastic drivers, so it's not like my Hi-Fi listening experience is going to be badly ruined by this fact, but a little more care over packaging wouldn't have gone amiss. Still, six speakers for less than a quid each isn't too bad. I've used one pair and they sound exactly as tinny and horrid as you'd expect, but for the simple projects I'm using them for, they're plenty good enough.
