This model HG00602 replaces the HG00553 on my Alto professional TS212 Powered speaker. It lasted 4 months (approx. 30 hours of use) it starts go make popping static noises just like the original HG00553 model. Disappointing!

I saved a $200+ repair by replacing this part myself. It was easy.

The horn was dead in Alto TS212 powered speaker. Amp checked out fine, so I knew it had to be the HF driver. There are a few youtube vids that show the process and it was a very easy repair/replacement. On a side note, from previous reviews, it seems like these used to be less $.

Works and exact fit. Just beware of YouTube video for installation. There is a video out for the TS215 that tells you to bend the positive and negative contacts, which I did with the first one I bought. Contacts became loose and the HF tweeter made a cracking noise after 2 uses. Take the time to take the speaker box apart to correctly install.
