I have 4 PRX415's flown from the ceiling in a banquet hall, each side has two. Each side is driven from a crown xti2000 in bridged mono mode. I have had this installation set up this way since 2014. I had three compression drivers damaged by a band, but only had one factory JBL compression driver on hand as a replacement. I put both remaining good drivers, one that survived, and one new in box JBL replacement on the outside two speakers of the groups. I then replaced the two remaining middle speakers with these compression drivers as I was able to get them shipped faster than the factory JBL drivers. Upon doing a sine-wave sweep at approximately 1/8th power both of these aftermarket drivers failed, but both factory JBL drivers were fine. I thought maybe I got two bad diaphragms, and I had ordered 3, so I replaced one of them with the remaining Wee2POND diaphragm, It also failed instantly when I performed the sine-wave sweep to RTA the room with the new diaphragms. All three of the Wee2POND diaphragms appeared to have a very low output at approximately 8.2khz which returned around 9khz and then the diaphragms all failed at around 10khz during a fast sine-wave sweep at 1/8th power.I have since replaced the remaining two broken compression drivers with factory JBL drivers, and was able to perform a sine-wave sweep and RTA the room multiple times without driver failure. These drivers appear to be poorly constructed and I would advise to stay away, unless you either run them at incredibly low power levels, or don't mind replacing them every 5 minutes.
