1. What is a dowel pin?
Generally divided into dowel Pin,slotted spring pin,clevis pins,taper pin and so on.
It is mainly used for positioning and connect two parts, make your equipment more stable .The Pin fixed in the installation hole by Presspassung.

Install
This cylindrical locating pin has special chamfering on the two ends of the pin, so that the pin can be easily inserted into the mounting hole. Please confirm the size of the locating pin you need before purchase.
Connection
The pin is one of the unthreaded cylindrical pin fasteners. When connecting, make sure to keep the alignment between the hole positions between the connecting components. In order to maintain the best firm performance, a metal adhesive can be added at the fixed end of the locating pin.
Notice:
For a tight fit, your hole should be equal to or slightly smaller than the diameter shown (Diameter + 0.006"/-0")

Did not mic them for actual dimensions, but they are straight and finished well. My set was used for hidden shelf pins.

I appreciate that these are camphered, and there were enough for me to use in multiple clamps. I only wish they had an even shorter version, it looks like 10mm is their smallest size.

Item just as described. Although it’s a bit snug if u want to put metal on metal pin. I had to use some oil/grease to get the pin in. And it will probably never come out lol but that’s fine.
