Our phones are constantly touched and shared, and it can be difficult to remember to do a wipe-down every arrival home. Instead, this sanitizer makes it easy. Walk in the door (or car door), drop in your phone, and step away. The civil engineer and water specialist in our house says this is the right kind of UV wavelength to ensure that your device gets cleaned. And because the UV light turns off when you open the device, there’s no risk of accidentally hurting your eyes.The one downside is that there is no external notification that your device has been in there the right amount of time. You have to keep track of that yourself, which is inconvenient.

Throughout this pandemic I have been looking for a cleaning solution that I could use inside my car for my phone. I knew that my phone and keys were the biggest carriers of bacteria and viruses but was not going to be using colorox wipes or other cleaning agents on my phone constantly. As I was searching on Amazon for this type of product I stumbled upon the Utilimedic UV8LED and was impressed from what I read and saw. The main points of interest for me is how numerous and the angles of UV-C lights were on the device so it would thoroughly clean any product placed inside, the other point was five minutes for completion which makes it ideal for my car trips. I have a Jeep Wrangler is it sits comfortably on top of my dash and I use it every time I use it in the car and leave the grocery store or any other location. The wireless charging pad on top is very useful and my wife uses it constantly. Highly recommend this product and will be getting another one for my house.

I am in love with this item. This item is a must have whether you decide to keep it in the car or use it at home. This phone sanitizer has a good size, modern look, and is easy to use, just one click to turn it on and it only takes five minutes to clean your phone. On top of sanitizing, it is also a wireless charger, super convenient when traveling because you do not need an extra cable to charge your phone. I keep mine in the car on top of the dashboard or in between the front seats if we are traveling with the family so everybody can disinfect their belongings. I use it to clean not only my phone but also car keys, credit card, face mask, watch, jewelry, air pods, sunglasses or anything that fits inside of it. I go to work every day, drop off and pick-up kids from school so I am getting in and out of my car on a daily basis and staying in contact with other people. As soon as I get in the car, I start sanitizing my belongings that were exposed to anybody or any other surface. Pick up my kids from school and sanitize their watches, jewelry and face masks. It keeps me from bringing all those germs to the house. I would recommend this item to any person, either to keep in the house or in the car.

I spend all my free time visiting retail stores looking for bargains in the back aisles. Since I touch many products in the stores and always have my phone out while shopping I started to realize that our phones are one of the dirtiest things we touch on a daily basis even if they’re not something we would normally consider “dirty.” Having quick access to sanitizing mine on the go has become crucial. The UV8LED phone sanitizer is so user-friendly and easy to use that it has become part of my daily routine. As soon as I get in my car, I place my phone in the sanitizer on my dash, push the button, and remove it 5 minutes later with the confidence that my phone is now clean again. As someone who is always on my phone, the wireless charging component is a huge added bonus. It is so much easier to simply place my phone on top of the sanitizer and let it charge while I’m driving. Although I tested a UV light wand there wasn’t much information on how well it actually worked. I give the UV8LED 5 stars for its functionality and efficiency, and believe everyone could benefit from having one of their own in their car (especially now)!

I recently saw a viral video showcasing the amount of bacteria on our phones before and after using a phone sanitizer and was completely blown away. I was shocked to see how dirty our phones actually are, and was equally impressed to see the effectiveness of a phone sanitizer. I immediately did some research and discovered the UV8LED, which seemed to be the best on the market due to its number of UVC lights and 360 degree charging feature. I found it on Amazon and ordered one for myself right away. Since then, I have used it every day for quick and easy sanitization while I am on the road. The UVC lights hit every side and angle of your phone, so you can be sure it is doing its job. I even bought one for my mom to use in her office (she is a Nurse Practitioner and has her own practice) so that patients and staff can sanitize their phones at the front desk. It’s been a huge hit!

Get ready to be dazzled at how big this device is and how much space it takes up on your car's dashboard. Wow. Be amazed at how you can't see if its on or cycling if it is sunny out. Does it work be killing germs on your phone or masks? Who knows?! But it does give you a feeling of comfort that it may have. There's no non-lab way of proving it is does or doesn't work.
