I just got today. And immediately put it to test. Contrary to one of the reviewers claimed, IT IS true UV-C according to my Quantadose card. Please see the attached picture. In order to prove or disprove this, you need to defeat the auto shut-off feature. Or as I did in the picture, opening the lid a little just to see the card inside the unit while the bulbs are emitting light. As you can see, UV-C indicator is lit brightly, depicting a strong UV-C exposure.Also thanks to the people answering my earlier question about maximum timer setting. Yes, I can confirm that there are two settings: 5min or 30min.I must also say that this unit look high quality, just like iPhones and Android phones if the world. It looks and works great. Ordered 15 if these UV sanitizers. The look and design are great, but one major downside every time you activate the UV light there is a high pitch sound that emanates from the device It is beyond annoying. I am running 15 of them at the same time at my business and it is unbearable.

I like that there’s two large uv-c bulbs (top and bottom) in this phone cleaning device. It’s hard to find a similar setup for less than $80, so I appreciate the value. The lights go on when the device is activated with the lid closed, there’s a countdown timer for 5 minutes. After the phone has been through a cleaning cycle you can smell that characteristic slight burning smell that signals the uv-c has killed bacteria and microbes.The device *does* emit a high-pitched electronic sound when activated, however leaving it in a different room or walking away 10-20 feet minimizes the noise. Also note that the uv-c bulbs are exposed, so be careful not to damage them with objects or oils from fingers, I added some clear tape to cover the bulb openings to prevent accidental damage, and the tape shouldn’t affect the cleaning (this is an area for design improvement). Overall I’m happy with the functions and build quality.

I don't think this does much at all, but I have no way to tell for sure. I don't have anything moldy to put into it. I do know that MOST of these, especially LED based lights do VERY little or nothing at all, to sanitize.

This is a good UV-C sanitizer for the price. It works great for phone, glasses, face mask, keys, etc. It is compact, lightweight and portable. Great for home use, in the car and traveling as well.The sanitizer uses two traditional UV-C lamp bulbs: one on the lid and the other at the bottom. UV-C lamps are a proven, effective technology to kill germs like viruses and bacteria. I like that there are little risers at the bottom to prop your item up so that it can get a better exposure to the UV-C light from the bottom as well as from the top.The sanitizer is easy to operate. Place your item in the box, close the lid and then press & hold the button to start the disinfection process. It has a timer button and a digital display for it as well.The sanitizer requires USB power for operation. The USB-C input is on the side and a cable is provided. You'll need to provide your own power adapter or a portable power bank. A power bank would truly allow for a portable setup.Overall, this sanitizer works great as advertised. It is easy to use and does what it is designed to do. Great for disinfecting phone, face mask, glasses or other small items. Good value for the money. It is worth giving it a try.

I bought this along with a sanitizer wand and I can't tell which one I love more!! This box is amazing because it can easily fit my phone plus other little items. Its nice to be able to come home and just drop my phone in the box. Im considering buying a second one for my workplace!
