It’s a usb thumb drive with no frills involved. You don’t need an app to use, just stick it in and it reads. It has a small light in the back that turns on when plugged it, which I appreciate.

Got this for my mum’s smart tv to be able to pause live tv for up to 90 mins. Works well & setup was essentially plugging it into a port on the back of the tv & clicking reformat on the remote.

Have A proper read and write speed that is commensurate to the USB2 interface standards (unlike many other brands’ usb2 drives that seem to have horribly slow flash that they would be marketed as usb1. ). Recommend for creating drive images for recovery media and install media for computers, or moving large quantities of data where a full sized usb 3.1 Ssd Isn’t an option )
