I have several version of video adapter from this company and they ALL do the same thing. Break. They work fine for a while (as long as you don't ask them for much) and then they do one of 2 things. First, and most commonly, they spontaneously stop working completely. As in dead. Landfill status. Second way in which these atrocities rip the consumer off is that the screen they are connected to will intermittently lose video and flash on/off all day long. 3 of 3 that I own have failed in some way. I consider these units to be complete garbage. They are really good at failing just after the return window expires too. Rip. Off.

Estos adaptadores son la mejor opción. Tenía otros que no se comparan, estos tienen mejor velocidad de transferencia, para mí hacen toda la diferencia ya que hago respaldos pesados a discos externos. Totalmente recomendables.

The converter well constructed. More importantly when I connect a USB 3 drive to it, the converter did not degrade the transfer performance. The transfer speed was the same as not using the converter. I did not test out the charging.I also received an extra USB A to USB C converter as a bonus. However, that bonus product is inferior and only transfer at USB 2 speed. However, since that USB A to C was not part of the description and just a bonus, I did not subtract points for the poor performance.

This product works great with my laptop, however, with my 11" 1st Generation iPad Pro, the light turns on when I plug it in, but the iPad did not recognize it, and it did not work. I solved the issue by using a shorter USB cable to the adaptor on the iPad. Help would have been appreciated, but there does not appear to be any technical support for this product. Lack of technical support is why I rated this product 4 stars instead of 5.

This is a great product. I use it to connect my iPad to my desktop pc to mirror my iPad screen, for streaming online using OBS to twitch. Works great with no added drivers to install. It also works with my window laptop to mirror to my pc for the same reason. You don’t have to pay any monthly subscription or that big one time fee for mirroring software again. The adapter is well built and all the plug-in ports fit nice and snug. I haven’t had any issues with it so far. I love the fact I can charge my iPad while mirroring also. I haven’t found one flaw with this adapter yet. I’m very happy with the performance and very happy with the pricing. Now it seems like I got a super good deal!
