- #2,399 in USB Hubs

I bought this primarly to do 4k@60hz + usb C power delivery for my mac m1. For that it works great. I have an external webcam + mic setup that I was also hoping to run through this hub and that setup unfortunately doesn't work. I left this hub connected for video and power, and moved my webcam + mic to different hub I had and it works.I'm guessing there's just not enough internal bandwith to do 4k60hz, power delivery, webcam, mic, ethernet all at the same time.

Been using this one at home to get ethernet connectivity into my macbook pro. Use it on the road too. Buying a second one because they are super stable and all the ports work as needed when I need them to.

This was purchased as a replacement for the same one acquired two and a half hears ago. Worked great until it died recently. Does get very warm, but not hot enough to burn!

If you have a Steam Deck or a Laptop (or both for that matter...) this is an item you might want to think about buying.Works really well with my HP Elite Book and my Steam Deck, great at 1080p (sorry I can't comment on 4K functionality) and unlike a lot of hubs, it has a USB C data transfer socket as well as a separate USB C Power In (PD) Distribution connector.Get this item along with a stand for your Steam Deck and you'll have a great, (and certainly more versatile) alternative to a dedicated Steam Deck dock.

This is perfect for my application. I will be using this with my iPad Pro for travel and giving presentations to clients. In my testing here at home so far, the network connection works great and the HDMI puts out a great image - largest TV I have tried so far is 65 inch, and the picture was great. Do keep in mind that the initial image is scaled to the screen and won't fill your screen. However, once you get the content up, such as sharing a power point, it will fill the whole screen just fine. Charges great, and the aluminum housing seems very sturdy. Bonus is that it is so small it just slips right into my briefcase without taking up any noticeable space.

Using this as an easy way to plug in a Lenovo Legion 5 gaming laptop. Didn't need a fancier dock with Power Delivery as the power needed from this laptops PSU is about 300w. Also have a desktop USB hub with card reader connected so didn't need card reader ports either. 3 USB 3.0, 1 gigabit ethernet port and HDMI that and do 144Hz at 2k resolution was all I needed, so this really ticks all the boxes for me.Pro:- Solid construction and compact size- Everything functions as expected without issue (so far)- HDMI meeting specification and supporting the refresh rates I was looking forCon:- USB-C Cable to connect to computer isn't removable and not that long- Ethernet activity lights on the port could be annoying in some situations

Update (06/29/2022): After several weeks of constant use, I can confirm I am getting frequent video drops outs over HDMI. The screen will drop its signal for about 1-2 seconds every 30-60 minutes. It's annoying enough that I can't use the HDMI port anymore and need to use the HDMI port on my laptop instead. Which now defeats the purpose of have an all-in-1 USB-C dongle. Really disappointed.Original review:I use my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro as a gaming computer connected to an external monitor (Dell 32" 1440p curved gaming monitor) and mouse/keyboard combination, with an ethernet cable for low pings. This has worked perfectly for me, particularly since the HDMI supports 144Hz on my monitor. Most only go up to 60Hz at 1440p. Each time I want to set it up, I just plug this into the thunderbolt/USB-C port and everything is connected up. Saves me having to plug in 4 different devices/cables.Not had any issues with any devices after many hours of gaming so far. My previous hub (Aukey) would overheat and freeze my computer. This has been the perfect replacement.Never heard of the brand but quality is great. Don't hesitate to purchase. Best bang for buck. Thanks to all the other people for posting their reviews, particularly regarding the support for 144Hz at 1440p. That helped a lot!

DISCLAIMER: I have used this onceI bought this multi-port adapter because I wanted a way to connect my new slimline computer to an ethernet cable for direct internet instead of wifi. While a plastic casing would have been slightly cheaper, I figured this metal casing would be more durable.Sometime in the future, I would also like the ability to connect my laptop to multiple screens, a mouse, and a keyboard. This adapter should allow me to set up a simple workstation for my laptop to plug into on demand, and it's small enough to toss into a bag and take with me for that direct connection to the internet.Since this adapter allows for 100W throughput and my computer needs 65W, this should do just fine. I did a bunch of research on how volts and amps work, and I recommend it to anyone technically-inclined.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. To be more competitive, probably the price should be 39,99 (I paid 48,99). However, in my case, I don't mind to pay $9 above the ideal price for something so perfect for my needs and working so well.Regarding heat. It isn't at all what some reviews said. It operates a bit warm but I can hold it with my hand when warm without any discomfort and it is certainly NOT dangerous fire-wise. My cup of coffee is much hotter than this device.I tested the HDMI and it worked for my 40" Dell U4320Q monitor at 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz.I tested the 2 USB-A ports and they worked fine. And I tested (and use all the time) my laptop's power adapter connected to the device and the device connected to the laptop's power port (USB-C) and it worked perfectly. The only thing I didn't have yet the opportunity to test was the second USB-C port (which cannot be used for power, headset input, monitor input, etc.)Before buying, I spent a few hours comparing this device with some other similar ones (whose price is in average $10-$15 cheaper), including the ones recommended by Amazon (this was not one of the recommended ones when I bought). Still, this one stood up as much superior. What I liked about1) It has the ethernet port, which was the main reason for my purchase.2) It can plug in the computer's USB-C power port so I don't waste any USB-C port in my computer (given that anyway I would need to plug power in that port).3) As advertised, the HDMI works at 60Hz with 3840x2160 resolution.4) It has USB-A 3.0 ports (others had 2.0 instead of 3.0 or sometimes has only one 3.0).5) It DOESN'T have memory card readers. In the end, the lack of these readers make this device smaller. And, in my case, after some thought I reached the conclusion that all my memory cards now are inside a flash drive so good USB-A ports is what I need, instead of memory card readers.
