I wanted this device to work, especially because of the variety of ports it offers—USB, Ethernet, HDMI, SD card reader, everything I needed to connect my peripherals seamlessly. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating from start to finish.First unit? Completely defective. It never worked. I immediately contacted the brand and Amazon, and while I got my money back, I had to return it.Second unit? Worked… but only partially. It had an annoying issue where every time my MacBook went into sleep mode, I had to unplug and replug the device to get it working again. Eventually, it stopped functioning altogether.I even recorded a video as proof and reached out to the brand and Amazon again. But since I live outside the U.S., returning it was more expensive than just buying another one—not exactly a great option.I’m not here to scam brands or Amazon—I’ve never had issues like this before. However based on my experience, I cannot recommend this device for the 15-inch MacBook Air M3 (2024). It seems to have factory defects that make it unreliable. Save yourself the hassle and look for a better alternative.

The Hiearcool 8-in-1 USB C Hub is a lifesaver for my Mac! It’s exactly what I needed to connect my SD cards and other devices effortlessly. The hub works flawlessly, providing quick and easy access to multiple ports at once. I love the compact design, and it’s so convenient to carry around for on-the-go use. If you need extra connectivity for your Mac, this is a must-have!

Great product, had it for a few months now and it continues to work well. Light weight, but it's a workhorse with all the great ports. I use this on my Apple Air laptop and it does the job well. Lots of great ports, never had any problem with any of them. Plug and play, easy to use.

New computers these days come with just USB-C ports, so if you want to connect anything to your computer, you need a hub that gives you the ports you want.I had a hub to conect Etherent to my computer, but that hub failed. I ordered the Hiearcool hub and received it this morning. Hooked it up to my computer and everything worked as it should.Easy install and it provides ports for SD cards as well as three USB-A ports. All-in-all, it was what I needed and it worked well

Loaded up the MacBook and inserted the SD card and doesn’t do a thing, definitely not worth the price now I got a paperweight, to hot out to deal with returning, will order different one that works and not this one, buyer beware you been warned…was trying to view some drone footage, couldn’t even get pictures to load and yes it’s a brand newMacBook as well.UpdateThe seller did reach out and make things right, I would have given a 5 star but the product still didn’t work for me because I chose to not waste any moreTime with this one product and so that’s that, great customer service.Update again,First off I’m new to MacBooks so wasn’t fully informed of some settings I needed to adjust to make this work, and it now works perfectly, I have sne message to seller letting them know that it’s my fault and there product is great. They showed compassion even when it wasn’t there fault, that speaks volumes to me, I will check there store before I buy anything computer related, I do recommend this product and seller, again sorry and thank you.

This 8-in-1 Hiearcool USB C Hub functions perfectly and is compatible with my MacBook Air and my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’m amazed that I could use ethernet and USB drives on them, and it provides any ports I’ll ever have to need. The USB C connector on it does seem to charge at a maximum of 100W, and the USB drives have good speeds.I had no issues with the temperature becoming too high, and the sleek design of this product makes it easy to carry around in a backpack or bag. It is straightforward to use, just plug it into a USB C port, and connect the accessory to the hub.However, I do have to give it a 4-star review because of the hub’s subpar quality of the casing. It's somewhat sturdy, but that's about it. The front of the ethernet port’s metal is starting to bend, and once, when I unplugged the ethernet cable, it took the entire casing with it, but it was a simple fix to put it back. Additionally, you have to exercise caution with the hub's USB C cable as it appears that excessive bending can harm it.Overall, this USB C hub works flawlessly but has a few problems in the design.

It worked great in the beginning, but lately it’s not connecting to my monitor. Not sure what up with it and I’m contemplating returning it. held up well so far!
