I've had this device for 4 months, and it has been extremely useful for me at work to have only one USB-C to plug into my laptop to connect my monitor, keyboard & mouse, and to connect power to all (except the monitor). I have a 100W Anker Nano charger plugged into the power-in. Since I take the laptop with me to conference rooms and other places around the office, I have to constantly bring it back to my desk to plug into all those things so only plugging in one USB-C is great.Two things are frustrating about it:1) Twice, the HDMI didn't connecti.e. my computer wasn't recognizing the monitor. The first time, I tried everything but a Mac update finally did the trick, and the second time, just a restart of the computer worked. I hope this doesn't become a regular occurrence.2) The cord is too short and stiff.I have my monitor and laptop raised to ergonomic height, so I don't want the cords dangling down, so I attached velcro to this device and onto the back of my monitor, but the cord being so short and stiff, it will pull the velcro away when it's at a weird angle or just when I'm trying to plug in the laptop. An option for a longer cord - even like 8 or 12 inches - would be preferable.

Our company uses these to add a monitor for our MacBook Air PC's. The HDMI connection allows for use of just about any monitor that has been released in the last 10 years. Our staff can use their own. The additional ports allow for more accessories since the MacBook Air only comes with USB-C connection ports.The HUB replaces the power source as well and we have used about 20 of these in our company life. Only 1 stopped sending a signal through the HDMI port, and Amazon/Anker replaced it free.Great company - great HUB - great resource for Apple MacBook's.

Great lightweight adapter. Got this to use with my MacBook pro, so far its been an awesome adapter, All ports are available when plugged in and I have noticed no issues with the dongle. The length seems perfect and well designed for what I need. Solid, well designed adapter.

Ce Hub fonctionne parfaitement lorsqu'il est branché à ma surface Pro ( il n'y a pas de port USB.Je l'utilise donc pour brancher une souris et un adaptateur de carte SD , lorsque je les télécharge sur ma surface... ça fonctionne très bien !Je recommande

This works well, however there are a few things to note for the price.First is that the usb ports are only 5Gbps as mentioned in the listing. No problems for me, but you will be limited to about 400MBps real speeds so if using an external ssd rated up to 600MBps, you will not get that speed. Same idea with the hdmi, limited to 4k 30hz, 1440p 60hz, not a problem for me, I dont mind using monitor at 60hz, but some people who really care about refresh rates might be confused why their super gamer 1440p 144hz monitor only says 60hz... Not really a big deal for most people, but some people might care. Also, a bigger problem is that the first usb c port only supports power in, again, not really a problem, and like all other things I mentioned these are all shown in the listing, but be aware and read the description of what you are buying.

I use this hub to connect a camera, UHD monitor and laptop power in my home office. It is much easer and cleaner to connect my laptop to one USB-C cable than having to connect all of the accessories to my laptop ever day. The cord is a little short, so I am using an extension cable. Everything works perfectly and all at a great price!

Purchased this for my 2019 MacBook Pro which biggest drawback for me is only having two usb c plug ins for the whole computer. I regularly connect hdmi ports and that only leaves me one usb c for any other device that I need or want to connect with no way to charge the laptop with anything else plugged in. This gives me the ability to charge as well as still gives me access to 2 usb c 2 usb b and an hdmi plug ins with no issues. This converter is a solid build quality doesn’t look cheap at all. It is a little bit smaller then the new iPhones but is super easy to use and couldn’t be better for everything that I have running through my laptop!
