I use this valve as the "Go button" for my paper rocket launcher kits. (See photo.) It's way more fun than the manual slide valve that comes with the commercial kit that inspired mine .. and more performant, too. There is a "momentary" green button variant of this valve that you push with your finger or thumb and don't have to reset. I thought kids would prefer that style, but as it turns out ... not only do they (understandably) love to WHACK the red mushroom button to launch a rocket, but they also really like the twist-to-reset feature. Who knew?

These valves work great. I have several and some are temporarily used for higher pressures without problems. I'm finding out the hard way that the O rings don't like certain off the shelf lubricants. It would be great if an O ring package was available to purchase.

Exceeded expectations. I used this to replace a safety switch on a 4-post vehicle lift that has air operated safety catches (original was leaking). I love that this locks open and works better than I expected. Awesome.

We are using this valve for pressurizing during a manual assembly operation where both of the assembler's hands are being used for the assembly. This latching 3-way valve performs very well once you learn how it is supposed to work. In our case the valve latches into pressurized position when the red button is depressed with the wrist. We had expected the valve to be unlatched into vented position by depressing the button once again. Instead it is unlatched by turning the button. We added a rubber tab to the red button to facilitate turning and now the red button can be turned just by swiping with the edge of the hand. It also took several dozen cycles for stiffness and roughness in the valve to be worked out. All in all it is an amazing value.
