The filters are great, however the foam in the filter case is covered with micro size glitter. The filter must be cleaned on both sides to get rid of them.

I brought this as protection for my Fuji 28mm lens and it is solid. It fits really well and hasn’t led to any distortion. Also fits the lens cap still which hasn’t always been the case for me. Would recommend for that.

Gobe filters are an excellent solution for someone who wants a decent filter in a large size without spending an arm and a leg for the top-of-the-line B&W. I paid $61 for their 95mm UV filter. You can get a 95mm UV filter for one-fifth of that cost or less, but it will likely break when you screw it onto your lens or mess up your threads. This is a solid choice that does not affect IQ, screws in and out easily and, as everyone likes to point out, comes in very nice packaging from a company that promises to plant some trees if you buy it. Win, win.

As filters are new to my camera kit, UV filters provide added protection for your camera lens and prevent dirt, dust, sand, and rain from getting in and permanently scratching your precious lens. That piece of mind alone motivated me to place my order immediately. After coming across Urth and their stand with protecting the environment was a win-win. Not only am I getting a high-quality product to protect my lenses, the added bonus of knowing an eco-conscious company is doing its part with protecting the very thing we need the most! I love it!The filter is slim and low profile and as with any other UV filters, it does not change affect the exposure or color of your photos in any way. Hopefully, I can thoroughly test the filter outdoors to see if there's a reduction to the atmospheric haze and see if there's an increase in sharpness due to the filter.

Put this 95mm UV filter on my Tamron 150-600 G2. I mostly use these for lens glass protection and then remove them before shooting because I've found some have produced less than great results because filters glass was not clear enough and added some distortion to my image. Taking it off allowed the lens to perform as intended. This UV filter from Urth will stay on, as on or off my images look the same. I've had good luck with Gobe/Urth ND and CPL filters and this was no exception. Comes with a protective tin and lens cloth which is a nice touch, and very satisfied with their products.
