While the Uross Carpet Protector offers good protection against pet messes, I found it quite challenging to cut it into the right shape. It’s not as flexible as expected, which made it harder to tailor to my carpet’s dimensions. This could be frustrating for those looking for a quick and easy solution.

My cat likes to shred the carpet underneath the door so we got this and it is so perfect! It stays in place on the carpet and does its job protecting the carpet. You do have to cut it yourself which was a bit of a pain but I don’t have good scissors so that’s probably why.

I really had my doubts that this would work but I was desperate….one of my cats would dig at my bedroom door almost every night and wake me up (just to play as he’s a young cat). I’ve had this under my door for a week and no more digging. Yaaaaaa! I recommend

Keeps the cats from clawing at the carpet. Just need to find a way to keep them from scratching the door. It’s a little difficult to cut accurately, but is easy to install and is very sturdy. I would say this is a good purchase for the price.

Very easy to cut so it can be installed at the right angle. Put cat used to completely destroy the carpet around the bedroom door and now he is so frustrated that he won’t even try anymore. It is a cheap easy fix, it just has a very plastic smell but it goes away, eventually.

Every apartment my troupe and I have lived in with carpet by a door, the carpet ends up destroyed. In an effort to be good house guests for a mid-term visit to my family, I purchased these.First, the unboxing. The mat is rolled so the pointy side is inward (logical, safe) however, upon trying to lay said mat on targeted carpet, the mat clearly wanted to maintain its rolled position. This was remedied by a heavy mouse doorstop living on one side and a cat tree on the other for at least 24 hours. This inconvenience is minuscule and therefore, forgiven. The mat must be cut or the damage begins; however, despite cutting it, the cats have found a way. The cat tree still lives on the side of the mat from which the attached picture features damage. The cats persist in their destruction; undeterred. This could perhaps be remedied by nails (pushpins would be extremely difficult due to the mat’s thickness) but, let’s be honest, I’m just a girl, and buying nails of the correct length sounds much too difficult. At a certain point, if other products must be purchased to make this product effective, it’s not worth my time or money.

It is very good quality, but I did have to tape it down on one side because my cat would scratch at it and completely move it when door was closed.

My cats CLAW at the carpet when the door is closed, I needed a quick solution, which this was. One thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t lay flat so they can potentially get their arms under the mat, but they haven’t, easy to cut to fit in the door way!
