My new kitty loves to scratch like crazy on the carpet right outside my bedroom door. From the second I put this mat down, she has used it and seems to enjoy it. The mat flattened out from being rolled up relatively quickly, and I don't even need to stick it to the carpet underneath - stays put all on it's own with occasional small readjusting. I'm a fan of the size, not too big or small, and fits just about exactly the width of my bedroom door (standard size I'd say, however it's not a wiiide door like you see in some older buildings.) Color is true to the photos as far as I'm concerned. I expect it to hold up pretty well, as she has already used it quite a lot but it is showing no signs of wear about a month into use.A bonus - I think her claws don't get so stuck like they do in/on some surfaces, which I would think is a healthly and or comfort benefit in some capacity (can't ask her of course, but it seems to be kind of fun and not frustrating the way say a longer rug/smooshy couch may be).

As soon as I put this scratch mat on the floor my cat claimed it. She started by plunking herself down in the middle of it, then rolling & stretching on it and finally scratching it. She doesn't usually take to new things so enthusiastically! This rug is sturdy and very well made. I doubt that even vigorous scratching will wear this out. I'm very pleased with this.

I’m not sure how to rate this. I can say It is a nice product but unfortunately the cats didn’t like it. They have zero interest in it, even with the catnip.

My cats want to scratch on carpet, so this is perfect for them. They like the feel enough that it keeps them off my area rugs!

it's sturdy, a nice size, functional, and good value for money. I just put some weights on it for a day to get it to lay flat.If only my cat would use it. Lol.

After having searched online for extra heavy duty sisal fabric to replace the original fabric that came on a scratching post with no success, I decided to try a different approach. Fortunately, the material on this mat is flexible enough to bend around the four corners of the post and it turned out great. The mat is held in place with wood screws on the back side which are not visible in the picture.

Our Cat not only uses this mat as a great scratching surface, but also Loves to stretch out on it for playful rolling around or taking a nice Cat nap. Great Price, Multiple Uses and a Very Happy Cat ‼️

I have had these in various parts of my house, for over a year, take them off at least once a week to clean under them, and they're still just as strong and sturdy as day one! They are so easy to apply, my cats love them and use them a lot, very affordable, good size (big enough for lots of scratch room, small enough to put anywhere). The adhesive for the velcro does not damage the floor and the velcro is very strong. I have two cats, one of them is a horizontal scratch kind of dude so he uses these a lot! I have 3 of these mats in my home, and have gotten them for friends who have cats several times. These are a win!
