I have had this plastic lining on my sofa for two weeks now and it is still holding up. There wasn't a need to tack it down, the adhesive holds just fine. I wish they made lager sizes to cover more surface area, but the seams of the plastic fit well together. It does have a harder time with curved surfaces, however I think you would find that issue with any product like this. I would recommend this to any pet owner.

This plastic cover works perfectly in the areas where my cats love to scratch. I’m not about to kick them off the couch. Instead, I just placed the cover where they tend to scratch, and added a couple of scratching posts. Haven’t had an issue since. It’s a simple solution that keeps both me and my cats happy!

Works great so far. A got the double sided adhesive. Causes some issues with cats' fur sticking to it when they brush up against furniture. But so far it is preventing further scratching.

Only had two days, but like it so far. The flat panels are much better than the rolls. Rolls were hard to apply and thin. The panels were thick and could be overlapped without the seams looking bad. From certain angles, you can barely see it. Cats haven’t touched the new replacement chair even-though it’s the same model. There is hardly any fabric left on the previous chair.FYI-The ones in the roll didn’t stick well.

I was hesitant ordering these because I was at the point where I felt like nothing would work to keep my cat away from my furniture. These were easy to apply and so far, it has kept my cat from redecorating my furniture and ruining it. The only drawback I would say with these is that the adhesive is strong, so if you have any fur flying around or anything that will stick to this, it will. Doesn't bother me though, I am happy to just have something that works. You don't really notice that you have this on your furniture unless its something really dark colored.

These are very very sticky on both sides, and while this is the point to keep the cats from picking, everything sticks to them. For example, my hair, cat hair, dog hair, my clothes, and blankets. These are meant to be a short term solution to train the cats, but they are not appealing to the eye. They stayed put on my couch and worked well though. I think it helped train the cats a little but I got tired of how they looked and took them down. They removed pretty easily, but if you have issues it suggests heating them with a blow dryer before trying to pull them off. They held up well while I had them, but they are thin so I was surprised how long they lasted.

I bought a new couch recently and wanted to protected it from my boy dogs who sometimes like to mark. For the record, I bought the 8 piece Thomasville Lowell modular sectional from Costco. I searched around Amazon for something to be a dog urine shield. After a lot of thought, I ended up purchasing the Panther Armor in 8 pack with one-sided stickiness.The protectors are super easy to apply and the perfect size. It's like a large sticker. They are kind of forgiving if you make a mistake in the application process. I was able to re-apply and smooth out. The protector was pretty fuzzy when I pulled it so I was concerned it would not re-apply well. But it did! I didn't use the pins and don't intend to unless the stickiness dulls from use. There is no creasing, cracking, or distortion around corners. If there is, it's probably your fault. Most of my corners look just like the product picture. My high traffic corner is the one in my review. This is what it looks like a month after heavy use from small kids, adults, and dogs.Of course the protector served its purpose not even 24 hours after application lol. The urine rolled right down and kept my couch safe.I have pointed out the protectors to all my house guests and everyone says it's a great idea and a great product. They also say they didn't notice the protectors until I pointed them out. I wasn't expecting to hear that. I notice them all the time. However, I keep looking at them to see if they are working.I bought the 8 pack because I figured it would cover enough area to test. I like the two sizes because one works for the couch and the others work for the ottomans.I was super happy with my 8 pack so I went back for a 12 pack for more coverage. My 12 pack had a little mistake and was missing a few sheets. I contacted the company on a Friday night at like 9pm. I had a response back in a half hour! Super impressive! They're going to send me the missing pieces.I don't think the 12 pack is going to be enough for my couch lol so I'll probably be purchasing more soon.

Despite the 4 large scratching stations in our home, our kitty still insists in digging her claws into EVERYTHING, from the couches to our T-shirts. This Panther Armor works so well that our kitty is starting to find new areas to scratch, even if she has to get into funny positions to do so (I'd attach a video, but our Amazon region doesn't have that option to do so). The only reason that I couldn't give a 5 star rating is that the pins that come with the Panther Armor can't be used if the fabric your trying to protect is covering the couch frame, in which you'd have to rely on the Armor's adhesive coating. It's good, but after about 3 months, I noticed one of the panels starting to peel off (I put the Armor covers all over our home). If we had another option than the supplied pins to keep things in place, it would be 5 stars all the way. Still, SUPER recommended. If you want the sides of your couches to last, slap some Panther Armor on them.

Purchased for a new sofa and chairs; these were very easy to install, peel and stick. Very sturdy and stick well to a corduroy/velour material. They are clear and are noticeable especially in daylight but rather this than torn material. Definitely has stopped scratching of nail claws on furniture using cat scratch pole more often. There are a generous amount of pin cushion that are easy to twist into the material once you break through the plastic. Hold the corners in place much better. Would recommend product. Have been on the sofa for almost 3 weeks now and still holding well. Highly recommend. Only wish there were more sheets in package. Good size.

cat scratching the sofa is no longer a concern, protects furniture perfectly when trimmed to the desired shape, and used in conjunction with 4" double sided sticky tape to cover the edges and securing pins so the cats dont pick them out
