Wir haben die Folie schon länger in Benutzung, sie hält gut auf dem Stoff und hält unsere Kater tatsächlich davon ab weiter am Sofa und Sessel zu kratzen. Die Folie ist relativ stark und dick. Sie klebt auch nach 5 Monaten noch richtig fest. Ich hab mit der Rolle einen Cocktailsessel und ein Ecksofa von Lehne links bis Ottomane rechts geklebt. Ich finde sie ist ergiebig. Würde sie bei Bedarf noch einmal kaufen. Noch wichtig die Folie hat keinen chemischen Geruch.

Its a very sticky material, to the point where you cannot remove it unless you have a steamer and razor. Also while it's applied to something once the dog scratches it all you see is scratch marks. It looks hideous. But if you're looking for something extremely durable this is your product I guess.

We have a houseful of foster kittens. Although we have seven scratching posts and pads, they kept targeting our poor nice loveseat. I should have ordered this a month ago, when the naughty behavior first began. It's a thick vinyl material, sticky on one side and shiny on the other. Very easy to measure and place, sticky side toward the upholstery, with reinforcing twist pins. MAKE SURE YOUR SOFA IS SAFE FOR THIS - NO REAL OR FAKE LEATHER OR VELVET. The kittens have not TOUCHED our loveseat since we applied this product. Note that this roll covered the problem spots on a loveseat (sides, corners, and in front below the cushions). If you have a full size sofa you'll need more.

We actually had to return the first order that arrived because it was missing the nails and the scraper. We got the replacement and it works great. So much better than the other versions that we used previously. This one is not sticky on both sides so it won't get collect dust or debris and caught on other things such as your clothing as you walk by. The nails made them more secure as well although at first we were worried it will cause damage. Thankfully our sofa fabric has tiny little holes so we don't think it will do any harm. Obviously, you don't have to use them either if you don't want to.

I like the Protector because it keeps my dog from scratching the door since his nail is sharp very strong adhesion and can be easily applied to any place you want too without chipping the paint off

Works just as advertised. Though my rabbit did manage to puncture a whole but then again it wasn't specifically designed for a rabbit so I won't dock any stars. Only issue I did have is that the tape cannot be placed on another tape to double up. It won't stick on its own surface. Apart from that, no complaints. Highly recommend.

this stuff is absolute trash. Very difficult to apply, and forget about applying it smoothly. Impossible. But the worst thing is how impossible it was to remove. This was supposed to be a temporary fix for keeping my dog from scratching my glass sliding door….when I tried to remove it a week later in favor of something easier/more attractive, it took me TWO DAYS to remove it using pliers and a razor blade. It was so stuck that I was afraid the pulling I was doing to get it off would break the glass. Plus, the top layer of plastic, the protective part, immediately pulled away from the adhesive so that I had to scrape the gunk off meticulously with a razor blade and use pure acetone on the glass to remove the leftover sludge of adhesive. I wish I’d never tried this stuff and could get back the hours i spent trying to wrestle with it on both ends—application and removal. Save yourself the money and the time and avoid this product.
