I find that it is pretty easy to rake up a pile of leaves, most of the effort is bagging them. This thing does make that part of the job quite a bit easier. You can shove a pile of leaves into it with the rake and then just dump them into a bag in one motion (though you will need someone to hold the bag).It is pretty flimsy material, but I've used it for about 30 bags of leaves so far and it has held up. It folds up into a compact form and fits into its storage bag, no problem.

Great time saver and works really well. Has a little tear/puncture hole after about 3 uses, but doesnโt affect its usability yet.

I have a lot of leaves. I mean a LOT of them. I thought this would make moving them to the curb easier, but it doesn't. Not only is it pretty small, but it moves around constantly while you're trying to rake the leaves in. Unless it's staked down to the ground (try doing and undoing that a hundred times and see how you feel), it's useless. Instead I took my neighbor's advice and bought a nice, big tarp. Far superior in every way.

I have a large backyard with a lot of leaves in the Fall. This product is super helpful in managing very large piles of leaves. It eliminates the constant bending over and getting leaves into bags. It opens up wide and I can rake a ton of leaves into the opened area and then easily use the handles to lift the light weight product up, fold it like a , insert it into a large leaf bag, and dump all the leaves into the bag. I would go as far as to say that using this product more than doubles the speed with which I can get all the leaves bagged. This year was my second season to use the leaf bag. It has not ripped or torn in any place. It doesnโt have any holes poked in it. As far as I can tell, it has no damage to it whatsoever from sticks or rocks or anything else that might get swept into it with the leaves. So itโs incredibly durable. The only thing that I can think of that might be bothersome to some people is getting it closed back into its little circle once youโre done with it. You have to get the hang of how it folds back up, but once you do, itโs a simple twist of the wrist and itโs condensed into a small circle. That can be put back into its holding bag. I absolutely love this product! It has functioned far better than anything else I have tried. If you have a yard with a lot of leaves to rake up, I would highly recommend buying this.

I love this thing it really speeds up racking up the endless Willow leaves. Works like a charm . Just fold it like a burrito straight into the leaf bagโฆ

I really like how it stays open, and actually it holds a lot of leaves. I like the handles and it is easy to pick it up and carry the leaves out to the street. Very convenient and I have to move a lot of leaves in the fall! Anything which makes the job easier is appreciated. I still use a tarp for the hug piles of leaves, as they hold more and the material will hold up to being dragged across cement. I probably wouldn't want to drag this leaf holder in the same way- I think the material would probably wear out rapidly. However, dragging along the grass seems fine.

Loved it but had to hold it down with bricks. Our OK winds are horrible and it took off like a kite. It did work as advertised if no wind. So much easier than claws or other devices on the market. Saved my back!! I tried every way possible to get it to fold back into the very small case but failed. Thatโs ok at least I was able to get it folded to half the size & can hang on a wall. Very pleased with the product.

Three 50 ft chestnut trees, with spikey hulls, produced 20 large paper of yard waste. It was Easy to rake straight into this devise. Reduced time to clean yard from 8 hours to 1 hour.Unfortunately the spikey hulls did damage the fabric but would still buy. Cheaper annual expenditure than having trees removed.

I bought this Leaf Collector for my husband, but it turns out I'm the one that loves using it the most. Our home is on .8 acres in a lightly forested area that gets a constant downpour of pine needles which we must rake up regularly to minimize fire danger. I had previously been raking the needles into piles and then using a large dustpan and the rake to lift the piles into the green can. I estimate this handy leaf collector has cut the time for the raking chore to close to half of what it was. I like it because it's easy to pop open and sweep the piles into it with the rake. It's lightweight, so I usually start out holding the front of it down with my foot until the first load goes in. I can then easily pick it up by the handles, shake the needles down to the bottom of the catcher, and move on to the next area. It's easy to pick it up when full and hold it over the trash can and dump the needles in. The catcher bends easily so that it acts like a funnel and dumps the needles tidily into the can.It takes a little practice to fold it up into its compact size when done, but it fits nicely into the zippered bag it comes with, and hangs compactly in our tool area. Some people complain that it is too thin and may not last long. It is about as thick as a nylon tent, which seems fine to me. I am careful not to drag it when it's full, as it may tear if you snag it on a sharp stick. Others complain that the metal shapers broke after a few uses. The device has two fabric handles built into it, and if you use those rather than picking it up by the thin metal shapers, I expect it will hold up. Even if I have to replace mine in a year (and I am hopeful I won't), it's a lot cheaper than paying someone to do the chore, and it saves a lot of wear and tear from the constant bending this 63 year old lady would be doing with just a rake and a regular dust pan. I highly recommend it and would purchase it again.
