Our cast iron was starting to flake off and rust. We needed a replacement but were scared it wouldn't fit or would be the wrong sizing. This fit perfectly to our oven. Its just the same as the original but we opted for the different metal type to not deal with cast iron again. We love it! Looks brand new again.

At first we thought the lighter weight may not eork,work, immediately we saw the heat was more evenly spread than the original one. Cleans easier too & fit perfectly.

I purchased the Griddle Replacement Parts for GE Gas Stove hoping it would fit our Kitchenaid cooktop. Unfortunately, the size and height turned out to be incompatible with our specific model. However, we found an alternative use for it by placing it directly on top of our regular cooktop grates, and to our surprise, it functioned quite well.Using the griddle in this makeshift setup, we were able to cook pancakes easily, and they turned out great. We also tried cooking hamburgers, which cooked quickly and evenly. The griddle seems to distribute heat effectively, despite not being as hot as it might be on the intended GE stove.We havenโt tested it for searing steaks yet, and I suspect thatโs where we might see some limitations due to our unconventional setup. Nonetheless, the griddle has proven to be a nice addition to our kitchen tools. Itโs adaptable and performs admirably, even under less-than-ideal conditions.In summary, while this griddle replacement part is designed for GE gas stoves, it has shown surprising versatility on a different cooktop. It would likely perform perfectly on the intended stove, but itโs still a useful tool for other types of stoves as well.
