The parts came ready to install took me 10min and it works like a dream!The first time this element broke I contacted Whirlpool and paid $165 for an element that had broken sheilding a loose temp sensor, packaging that looked like it was made by a 3 year old and it only lasted a year! This new upgraded one came in strong safe packaging so there was no damage to it. Jury is still out on how long it will last, but based on what i've seen so far...I certain I wont be disappointed!

It was a great replacement for my Whirlpool stove, but just be sure to read that little slip. The photocopied little sliver of paper is difficult to read, but you have to figure it out. On my model the wiring had changed from the original and I had to really figure that out. Read the slip, Google, do what you need to do before you hook up that burner, or you are going to be in for a shock. Installation is easy, once you figure out the wiring.

Surface Element arrived on schedule. Amazon packaging was in good condition. Vendor packaging was ripped on one corner. After I installed the Surface Element, it did not work. Returned the Surface Element and ordered another one. Vendor reached out to me and explained that the Surface Element may have not been defective and that I may not have installed it correctly. Vendor sent me installation instructions. I installed the new Surface Element using the installation instructions and it works perfect. Great product and excellent customer service. I recommend this vendor and will use them again, if needed.

I purchased this part after much research, trying to find an exact replacement for the larger element in a Jenn-air JEA8130ADB^ halogen cartridge*, to fit a JES9860AAW range / cooktop. The elements are not even listed in the part diagrams for that oven.In order to be sure of fit and function I had to go slightly smaller in width/diameter. Most replacements for 8" are actually wider, as the measurement is the heating element only, without the housing. This part is slightly smaller than the original but I was able to bend the tabs inward to get it seated/centered in the cartridge.Just boiled some water in an oversize pot and it took roughly the same time as the OEM element.As long as it continues to work 5-stars it is. If anything changes I will try to update.^ I believe this would also work in the radiant cartridge - JEA8120ADB. But not 100% on that.* complete replacement cartridge = $437+ while this replacement element was $69.

Just make sure you have find the right part and works like the original the quality is really good. It’s very east to install i have a whirlpool burner and installed it my self it took my less than 20min to install it.

This product works great. I was happy to find this much cheaper than the Whirlpool OEM. The first one i received was not heating well, but the seller sent me the replacement immediately and it is now working like a champ. Terminals on this were not same as in my original one, but some careful attention on how their terminals are labelled, i was able to install successfully.
