Works great! Definitely took my time planning out the best way to mount, but the instructions were really helpful. I got lucky that my rafters aligned perfectly, so I didn’t need additional boards. Only thing the instructions didn’t say was you need to expand out the pulley system before setting all your knots and lengths. Works really well!

If you are looking for a really cheap way to lift and store your Jeep roof you can use four eye hooks and ratchet straps. It is not a one person operation but I have done it. This is a much much better solution and not much more costly.The pulleys and rope all seem to be of decent quality. Surprisingly the instructions are decent. We have high garage ceilings and installation on a tall ladder is precarious. I wouldn't use this in a garage with high ceilings if you are not comfortable working on a tall ladder.This will hold my roof close enough to the ceiling so we can walk under it without hitting my head.This is an improvement over my current roof storage situation and I like it.

I'm going to opt for another style for doing this like the standing racks it's just too much and to hang to much swing to much everything and it doesn't feel secure or sturdy or safe
