Replacement Tailgate Bar for Wrangler YJ/TJ
MasterTop's tailgate bar and retainer kit replaces your worn factory tailgate bar and is designed to provide a secure attachment point for soft tops and tonneaus to give extra reinforcement to the soft top or tonneau fabric, preventing it from tearing and flapping in the wind while driving.
The durable rubber seal provides a weather-tight fitment that keeps moisture and dust of your cargo area, keeping you Wrangler’s interior and cargo protected from the elements.
Some drilling may be required for installation depending on which tailgate bar is currently installed on your vehicle. Replacement of the current retaining channels with the enclosed channels is required.

Works perfectly on my 1997 wrangler. Make sure you have the correct bracket type on your jeep. Bestop (I think) uses their own design and wont work with this bar.
