I installed these Racewill hold-downs in a 2024 Jeep Wrangler JLU Rubicon. I was pleased with the results, with one exception. Read on for our impressions. The Good:-- EASY INSTALL: The bolt length is identical to the stock hardtop hold-down bolt, so it's simple to remove the OEM bolts and install the Racewill fastener.-- WELL MADE: The head and loop are all metal or milled aluminum and appear to be quality manufactured.-- NEEDS MORE THAN HAND TIGHT: I used pliers to get good torque on the Racewills, as I didn't feel I got enough torque by hand. You can also use a screwdriver as a pry bar between the hold-downs.-- STRONG: Once tightened, these have probably 5x the surface area against the hardtop edge to push down and, in effect, provide a stronger, more robust hold-down than the stock bolts.-- HAS RUBBER GASKET: There is also a rubber gasket on the bottom to prevent damaging the hardtop edge.-- USEFUL HOLD DOWNS: These will be useful hold-downs for awkward cargo, especially if the cargo is tall or you have a rear shelf.-- NICE THAT THEY ARE RED: I like the color, which blends with the other red accents in the Rubicon. The Bad:-- NO SCREW or BOLT HEADS: There is a torque spec for the hard top hold-downs. Without any bolt or screw head to access the top of the Racewills, a torque wrench cannot be used to set the torque.

These were used on a 2018 jl. I had decided to buy a used hardtop to use for off season and needed 6 bolts for the back as well as hard top install kit for the front freedom panels. They feel heavy duty and easy to screw in. I did not need the retaining plates they came with since there is already welded in nuts on the body. I'm thinking they should be easy to remove when I put the soft top back on next summer.
