If you have anyone at your house that likes bubbles in their drink, and has a soda machine. You need to start saving yourself some serious money, and get this set-up and a bigger tank. Wow, what a money saving idea, that makes the set up very easy!! Our best hint is to get some of those little packets of drink mix to add to your water, shake & dissolve into water, then chill as it seems to take on bubbles easier cold.

The Soda Stream Terra has become a favorite in our household, providing my husband with refreshing fizzy water. However, the small proprietary bottles can be costly and don't last long. This adapter has been a game-changer, allowing him to connect the machine to a larger, refillable tank. This has resulted in significant cost savings, as he can have the tank refilled locally. Buying pre=filled C02 bottles was costing an arm and a leg. Not anymore. This adapter makes it super easy to rent a 10 pound C02 bottle from the local medical/welding gas supplier. Now we only have to get a refill about every 3-4 months. And believe we, we are filling the 1ltr water bottles 2-3 times a day. Yeah, its worth it.

This kit adds a hose to the newer CO2 infusion machines. Easy to use, install on larger tank, then insert into infuser. Recommended for ease of use.

If I were to do it again I might get the version without the gauge as it seems kinda cheap and is really hard to read where I have it located in a cabinet under my countertop. The length is great. The only downside is that it seems like the long hose and all the fittings, while keep the pressure up, reduce the volumetric flow enough to reduce the level of carbonation possible. It still carbonates but I like a very hard carbonation and this is just slightly below that. I'm getting used to it though. Maybe I was over-carbonating my water. Time will tell if I keep this. I'll give it one full tank's worth.
