I have installed several of the rotary disconnects for batteries over the years and I have to say that this one feels substantially more solid than the usual suspects. The heft and ease of rotating the switch is a significant upgrade than the others. I also saved some time and work by not having to install a volt meter somewhere inside the travel trailer (usually I put them by the command center). Granted, it is outside and I would need to go out to check it but it combines two functions into one unit, and no new holes inside my trailer's interior is required.What I did not realize is that the voltmeter stays on all of the time. As others have noted, it draws VERY little power to do so. But if you are looking to absolutely have zero parasitic draws on your battery for extended storage, this may not be the unit you're looking for. Or, simply don't connect the negative post to your battery (you lose the voltmeter display as a result).

The only problem with this heavy duty switch is the voltage readout is in blue led. It’s very hard to see unless you’re really close. Red would probably have worked better. Other than that, it’s a lot easier to turn the switch on and off than it is to unplug it every time you’re done with your trolling motor. It works great on my 24 volt system.

This is for "GOGONFLY Upgrade Battery Disconnect Switch with Voltage Display, DC 5-60V Battery Power Master Switch Disconnect Isolator Cut Shut Off Switch for Marine Boat Car Truck Camper RV Trailer (On/Off)"Has a nice solid click when turning on/off. Display of voltage works only when switch is on, blank if off. Display is muted, not as bright as in the photos. If switch is wired without the negative monitoring lead, it will function without the voltage display.

The switch seems of high quality, good activation and feel between on and off. Relatively easy to install with included bolts, gasket and blocking panels. Voltage read out is a very nice feature and easy to read, good clarity and size. Working well in my application.
