As an HVAC service technician, I pull a lot of blower motors and condenser fan motors. The first coupe is used are flawless, i’ll give it that. But not even 6 months after using this thing fell apart. The middle screw that pushes the motor shaft through, became dull and loose after about 2 months. It’s now a pain in the ass to get it to line up with the motor shaft correctly. The screws that are supposed to hold the blades in place, literally are now starting to shred the core of the blades. It scrapes metal off the core of blades when trying to push the shaft through. This might be practical for like maybe 5-10 uses but after that be prepared to buy another. Cheap quality, and poor design. Don’t waste your time on this garbage if you do service on the regular.

Was struggling to get the squirrel cage off the motor. This made it simple and no damage.

This blower wheel puller gets the job done, but it's not without its challenges. It takes a lot of muscle to get the wheel off, and even then, it doesn’t feel as smooth as it should be. If you're looking for a basic tool for occasional use, it might work for you, but if you're expecting ease and efficiency, you might want to look elsewhere.

This fan puller for HVAC is a absolute must! if your a homeowner or someone that does HVAC work or repairs this tool is a lifesaver when pulling the fan blades out of the blower assembly. It has several ways that it can hookup to the fan(which is great because the model can be different depending on the brand & year) and use the center bolt to slowly pull out of its housing. This is also great to use a solid bolt to pull because in this enclosure it can rust or seize together if its a older unit that has never been changed. The recommendation to lube and inspect the fan, blades and housing is every 6 to 9 months and I was falling shot a few years ;) great that nothing happened as far as problems but I saw the amount of rust along the blades and inside, it made me think I should of so that the unit is operating at its best at every season & the rust could of made a friction on the rotation of blades making the unit work harder for the same amount of output. The tool was made with high precision & high quality.Very nice piece along with a large center bolt and several hooks of different sizes to attach the tool to the fan and pull-out. The value for ths tool is its weight in gold, it helps the most for yourself being detailed when taking apart the assembly for maintenance, making sure everything is in order and lubing the moveable parts. If you didn't have this tool... No way you would be able to pullout the fan without damaging it and that forces you to purchase the assembly and fan together rather then the fan part that you need. Its super easy to use, once you get the concept n how to attach it correctly, it takes a min or two to pullout the fan entirely.Overall this tool is a must! Amazing quality, extra parts & ease of use make this a 5 star product! So happy I finally can do my fan blades on my unit in the attic! Absolutely love it!100% I would recommend!!

So I bought this after seeing someone using it on youtube. I felt like it was not going to pull the motor I had stuck. But I just kept tightening it slowly and spraying silicone spray on the shaft, a quarter turn at a time and it pulled it out. It made a thump when it passed the stuck portion afterwards it came out easily. I think every tech should have one available to them when in need.
