Bought it for a family member for their Christmas gift. They really enjoyed it and the instructions were quite clear. Very good value for the price as it also comes with finger gloves that protect you from poking yourself.

My 15 year old has been interested in learning to felt, but I didn't want to hand over all my supplies, so I got her this kit for Christmas. Amazingly, she was able to create a little cat on the first try! She didn't get frustrated and give up part way through like she does with many crafts.I wouldn't give this to anyone under 12 or 13, just because of the risk of injury, but it's definitely beginner friendly, and she found it very fun. She did wish she had enough black wool to make her aunt's black cat, though.

I started making my toys with this set and I just fell in love with this new hobby. I really liked that there is enough wool and good instructions. A small minus - not enough needles

I wanted to try this craft, and was amazed how easy it was, and what was included in the kit. Everything you need, including little scissors, is included. The instructions are a little rough (you can tell they have been translated) but are easily understandable, with pictures. They even include little faux leather "thimbles" to put on two of your fingers so you don't poke yourself. Everything is good quality. It comes with a nice little little pillow and a large piece of felt to use as a work surface. Plenty of materials for all the projects, including little hangers if you want to turn the animals into things you can hang from your purse or car mirror. The needles are definitely sharp, so I would caution against gifting this to children. A great beginner kit- I'm so glad I got this!

A mi hija y a mi nos gusta mucho. Viene muy completo el kit y también me gustó mucho que en las instrucciones tiene un QR y ahí te metes para ver el video de paso por paso como se hace cada gatito.

Product is what it is. No surprises there. It's actually pretty good kit. Has plenty of needles and examples and everything you'd need (as far as I know). So I would definitely recommend it.But just a couple downsides, more for awareness. They don't really take away, but instructions are pseudo English and pseudo useful: Poke holes with an awl and to fix black fishing line to the sides of the cat's face as a mustache. Besides the grammar, this, like most of the instructions are a: give it a try and see if that works. And as you can see from the picture, I'm one to take instructions as general guidelines. The next I'm a little sad about, but the pad it felt covered. And your felting on top of it... You're going to pick up fibers from it :/ which unless you're doing grey, they're going to be the wrong color. But otherwise, it works great, purrfict size and durable. Again, this is a five star review and I recommend it.Took about somewhere 2-4hrs doing it... While doing other stuff. Finger pads work about as well as you'd expect: only block when you have them on. But they make it hard to work with the wool, so I only wore them as needed. And had about 5 stabs that could have stained. So if you care, be more careful than me.

I've made the first two kitties (pictured) but I omitted the legs for the grey tabby. Instructions are clear & relatively easy to follow. Each cat has a QR code that lead to a video showing the steps as well. The more cats you do, the easier it becomes.The only complaint I have is that it's hard to gauge what size each part should be, including the body. I feel like I'm making them too big - but it matches the size in the videos - because the eyes are much smaller in the kit than in the photos. I'm worried that means I'll run out of the wool for the rest of the kitties.Overall though, it was a nice trial for me to decide if I want to keep pursuing felting (which I think I will!). Plus now I get cute felted kitties to work my bookshelves.

This was the most satisfying project I've tried in a long time. I've never felted before, but this kit had everything I needed to get started. There are a lot of needles included, and the felting pad seems to be very good quality for a beginner.It took me about two hours this afternoon to make my first kitty - I made him a little more detailed than the instructions showed. I think he turned out super cute for a first attempt. :) I'm hooked!My only complaint about this kit is that there are no instructions about how to attach the included key chain clasps. There is also no included "parts list" that explains all of the included pieces - it is mostly intuitive, but I thought at first that the awl might be a needle holder.

We love this kit! My 10 year old daughter and I immediately started as soon as we received it! We had seen TikTok videos of a person making similar and we wanted to try making some.There is more than enough wool to make each “doll” and once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy. You just need some patience (and time) because it takes a while to make a firm ball as the base.A few things to note:1.) buy a pack of extra needles because they can break easily (when you get impatient and try to go quickly)2.) glad they included these leather finger covers! You realize you need them after you poke yourself by accident a few times (again from being impatient!)3.) the YouTube videos are very helpful! We preferred them over the written instructions. (Once you figure it out and make one, you don’t need them really.)We recommend this kit for beginners!

I thought this was going to be much harder than it was but with the picture and video instructions, I feel like it adequately showed how to easily complete the puppies. You have to us a QR scanner, and it just takes you to the YouTube page so you have to search through the videos to find the right one but once you do one or two you get a pretty good idea of how to create the others.The picture instructions are written in bad English but show detailed enough pictures that it would probably be easy enough to do without the video instructions. I had dabbled in felting slightly a few years ago but this kit gave me so much more experience in just a few days. I've sold every keychain I've made since I started!

The kit came with everything you will need to make each one and has a sheet with instructions and a youtube link also. I am a beginner and I found it easy to follow. I did not use the picture for a reference as it suggested so my first one was a little bigger than theirs. So, I would suggest you use the pictures for sizing if you want them small. there was plenty of supplies in fact I had enough to make a few more with what I had leftover. They are really cute and a good boredom buster.
