Needle Felting Beginner Kits

Needles using skills:
- Make sure you are stabbing in and out at the same angle, not twisting or bending the needle. If the needle won't go into the wool easily, either change to a finer needle, or if the piece is very hard you probably want to stop felting it to avoid over felting.

I never wanted to try felting, it looked impossible. But my daughter bought a kit (not this one) and her needle broke. So I was going to order her another and it was the same price to just get myself this kit with multiple needles for the both of us. I thought I’d give it a try and I’m glad I did. It was so fun! The instructions are a little lacking but clearly that wasn’t a problem. There’s plenty of material to make a second one if you want. I plan to use the extra material to make a crocodile wearing a duck costume!

Kit contains everything needed for 2 animals. So cute and easy. My first time needle felting and this was so much fun to do!

What you get: a small basic set of felting tools for single-needle-style needle felting, including three sizes of needles (2ea, 6 total), a punch pad, roving, and accessories to complete the project (eyes, etc.)Pros: for a cheap little kit, the tools are adequate. They provide plenty of roving to make one doll, probably enough to achieve two if you’re experienced.Cons: the instructions are pretty useless for someone who has never done needle felting before. My project turned out okay because 1) I looked for instructions on YoiTube and 2) I knit so I understand the principle behind why wool felts.I wouldn’t recommend this as a gift for someone who has never done needle felting before. It’s probably fine for someone who knows the basics.

I liked this Kit, the instruction could be a little clearer but just Look at the YouTube Channel "Rabbit Strawberry tutorial wool felt, and you will get the idea of how to make the Duck even though it is not the exact same character, it teaches the basics and in conjunction with the instructions you will be able to master this felting project.

I got this yesterday and completed it today! I am a total beginner, so have no fear, you can do it! I was expecting for mine to look like a “Pinterest Fail” but somehow it doesn’t! The kit has everything you need. Directions are in a different language. The QR code does let you see a visual of it, which helps. I also looked up “beginning needle felting” on YouTube and watched a few ladies explain and demonstrate. That was very helpful. You get the feel of it very quickly! I managed not to break any needles. You don’t need to jab too hard. I did poke my fingers a few times! Tip: the yellow handled tool is for making holes for eyes and such. I thought it was a needle at first and tried to use it. Quickly realized it wasn’t felting and I needed to put the needle together!😂 It is hanging in my Christmas Tree now! Have fun! I’m off to order more!

I really liked this product but the only thing wrong was that mine didn’t come with foam block for me

This kit comes with everything you need! There may even be enough material for two. It was not too difficult, and it does come with instructions. I would estimate it takes 3 to 4 hours to complete.
