This product has good reviews overall but my particular purchase was returned the same day I received it. I noticed something was off after i calibrated and clearly saw that the adjustments were off so I recalibrated but this time removing the device and rotating it and then placing it back in to only see the laser was no longer centered. I tried this by rotating it more times in different spots and there was no consistency so it tells me that the laser itself inside of the device is not aligned properly. I wanted to like it but mine was not accurate at all.UPDATE***I had another one sent to me and everything is now working as it should and it works great. The system is convenient and I was able to calibrate everything pretty quickly. The customer service was just as good as the product so I’d recommend it for the device and the service.Whether you have green dots or red dots I’d recommend getting the same color laser

This technically works, but I wouldn’t use it to sight anything in that you plan on taking past 20 yards. There is too much room for error when using one of these, it is best to stick to zeroing your weapon by shooting paper the old fashioned way.

The red laser is the best for sighting in a green laser on a gun. This unit is a high quality, very well-designed sighting tool. It comes with 2 batteries, one that fits perfecting into the section that unscrews. It has a nifty on-off button. It comes with multi-colored barrel spacers to accommodate from .177 to 12 ga. Each spacer comes with a screw. The BEST feature is it will fit into a micro compact pistol barrel! I have another laser bore sight and it's too long for 3.1" barrel. The price for this tool makes it a bargain to own. It's my favorite "gunsmithing" tool. It will make a fantastic gift for any gun enthusiast. I'd give this product 6 stars if I could.

I was somewhat skeptical about using this specific brand, but decided to try it. First, I sighted the rifle in at home, carefully following the instructions to use a caliper or tape measure to measure the height between the mid barrel and mid scope ( 1.5 in ). Next, because I sighted the rifle less than the recommended 50 yards, I used the template target that includes a scale to adjust the scope redicale to the height measured between the barrel and scope.I took the rifle to the range. Placed the rifle in the shooting stand/mount; attached the proper barrel insert; placed laser device in the barrel; and turned on the laser. Again, following the instructions, at fifty yards, I placed the laser (green) on the bullseye and adjusted the scope redicale to the laser dot.The first shot impacted about 1.5-2.0 inches above the bullseye. I held the rife firmly and adjusted the scope redicale to the point of impact. The next two shots were directly in the bullseye.Following these instructions may seem time consuming. No, I probably did not have to siight in at home. Sighing in at the range proved sufficient. It only took about ten minutesThe great things about this brand is the template target with the scale that you can adjust the scope redicale to get the proper alignment prior to shooting at longer distances. You can attached the tsrget to a nearby wall. The barrel inserts appear to work well. But are somewhat difficult to determine. The green laser is great! It is very bright and works great over a red bullseye. It should work great with when sighting in a red dot scope.Overall, I'm extremely pleased and surprised at the ease in the sighting in process. Especially, for the cost. This really works!!!

This is my honest review and I didn't get anything from anybody ! Just that happy with my purchase and want to help others decide !None of these type of laser bore sighters are dead on precise when it comes to being concentric with the part that goes into the barrel. Almost impossible using different attachments for different bores. With that said, this one is surprisingly good. I rolled the thin diameter on a glass surface and the laser dot wobble was within an inch at about 10 yards. Your mileage may vary. (read on)There are (4) adjustment screws under the silver warning label at the front but I wouldn't mess with them ( and instructions say not to) unless you know what you are doing and only use (1) caliber. Otherwise as soon as you change tips you're going to loose that calibration. The tips are plastic, have to expand, and there are manufacturing tolerances too. If you want dead on center, ..... rotate the bore sighter in your barrel and mark the points of the laser dot to the left, right ,top and bottom. Then make an X connecting the points and place a thumb tack in the center. That will get you dang near perfect center. (rifle needs to be in a fixed position, like a vise, workmate etc.) Not necessary though to get you "on the paper" at 25 yards or so. If good, then try 50 yards or more. Then finish your adjustments based on shot placement. This will save you on expensive ammo and that is it's purpose ! If you want a bore sighter that you can use in your basement and then be within 2 inches at a 100....dream on. I set this in a 30 caliber rifle and it stayed firmly seated in the bore when moving the rifle around horizontally. This thing is all metal (except the case and tips)and powerful too ! I took it outside in the daylight (partly cloudy) and could EASILY see the laser dot 40 to 50 yards out. Wow !For the price you simply can't beat this one !! It has a decent case to keep the parts together and organized and also (2) big batteries.(one is a spare). Much better then the watch size batteries other makers use. Besides the batteries being big, they are easy to change too. A big plus !They even include a small screwdriver for the tips but I just used my fingers to get a light feel. I adjusted then tried it in the bore until I got the perfect fit and not too tight.Note: when changing the battery, make sure you tighten until the lines on the body match up. This helps to keep the factory calibration. Also be sure to remove anything on the end of the barrel like a muzzle brake, flash hider etc.Someone said they couldn't read the small numbers on the tips. They ARE small (because the tips are small) so I didn't even try. I just found the biggest one that would easily fit into the bore. Took less than 3 minutes!I think some want a bore sighter that's accurate to 1/4" at 1/4 mile, jumps into the bore itself, adjusts your scope for you and cost $5.99 all while playing your favorite iTunes LOL Well me too but that ain't going to happen unfortunately LOL.Seriously though,....can't believe I got this at this cheap price ! Only $24.99 for the RED laser as of 3/9/22. Green is 5 bucks more. I'm VERY HAPPY with my purchase and you will be too !
