I connected this to my unused narrow band O2 sensor on my 88 Samurai. It seems to function as intended, but I'm not quite sure just how useful it is being narrow banded. Of course, that's no fault of the unit and it seems to work well as intended. Also, the description wasn't quite clear that on startup it works as a system voltmeter giving the O2 sensor time to get up to temperature.

Works great having issues with my stock oil pressure gauge so I picked this one up. Only had one issue it didn't work after I started one day so I turned off my car then it worked again only happened once. Other then that it reads how I expected. Good item and nice to see my accurate oil pressure and not be concered.

Backlight stopped working 1 day after return period on amazon expired. (of course). I can see the LCD readout and the AFR portion still works, but the backlight is out.

Installed it in my ka24e hardbody, works better than expected, almost seems like I'm running a wideband. Pretty close to accurate, spark plugs prove it. If yours ain't working right, you either hooked it up wrong, you have a factory wideband and don't know it,or your o2 is no good. Sometimes you just get a lemon!

If you are lookign for an affordable do-the-job not-accurate way to read your air/fuel ratio, then this is the gauge for you. From my experience as a customer, I just wanna let you know some facts. This is a NARROWBAND gauge. Why? Because it reads only voltage ranging from 0.1 volts to 0.9 volts, which is enough for the gauge to say either your engine is running reach (0.1 to 0.23 volts) or rich (0.6 to 0.9), or what you expect, stoich (good air/fuel ratio, 0.45 volts). The problem however is that not much tuning can be done with these parameters. By the way, that voltage range is produced by the NARROWBAND O2 sensor (It generates voltage ranging from 0.1 to 0.9).If you would like a more accurate instrument, you want a WIDEBAND gauge and WIDEBAND O2 sensor. Why is it called "WIDE-BAND"? Because the O2 sensor generates a WIDER voltage, typically from 0.1 volts to 5.0 volts. That gives a WIDEBAND gauge a WIDER range to interpret, thus, more accurate.Back to this gauge, if it didnt bring the instructions like mine, then let me just tell you about the wiring: YELLOW to 12V+. BLACK to 12V- (or engine ground), RED to IGNITION 12V+ (if you plan to set fixed your gauge so it only turns on when the iginition is ON) and GREEN to SIGNAL cable coming from the O2 sensor. By the way, if the O2 sensor is 1-wire or 2 or 3 or 4, just make sure you know which the signal cable from your O2 sensor is.If you have any other question regarding this setting, feel free to email me at josesunda@yahoo.com

Took an extra 2 days over expected delivery date. The less to light out the "rich" and "lean" were not working right out of the box. The "optimal" light lasted 3 days. Flickered on and off for a day. And dosnt work.If you don't have this wired straight to the battery the low volt light comes on for a really long timeNo adjustment of the brightnessNot accurate. Wired in a wide band a/f gauge and this one was off by almost a full point at all time randomly high and low.If u want a cheep way to see your a/f then go for it
