I waited to post a review until I was able to use for awhile. This cover is by far the best material of all the covers I have purchased and I have purchased at least 8 over the years. Living on the lake and the wind gust, it takes a toll on the covers. I typically get 1-2 seasons out of a cover and that's with taking it down on extremely windy days. As I mentioned, this is the strongest, nicest fabric of all the covers I have purchased. Durability is excellent thus far and it's been up for 2.5 months. I see minimal fading which was a concern for me with the constant sun I get and getting the darker color but I have no complaints on this feature. I got the brown which is a very nice shade of brown. The stitching has held up well. My only negative would be the hold down straps which are pretty much useless. They are not long enough to secure to the posts. However I purchased a roll of velcro to make my own straps which is working well. Because of this, I took it down to a 4 star rating. YES, I would definitely recommend and I will purchase again. I fully expect to get 2 seasons out of this cover which makes the slightly higher price worth the additional cost.

The cover fit nicely, although a bit large for our older pergula. Withheld the rain, as well!! Love the lighter color!

Very well made. We needed to replace our old pergola shade and this fits perfectly. Easy to put up. Love the wine color, it just makes our pergola pop.

The product has a hole in the fabric. Did not see it until I installed. This item will not last long.

The cover catches rain in huge pockets and you have to empty them. It cannot be help tight enough to prevent the water from pooling on top. We took the cover off of ours and will likely put tin roofing on top.

It seems a bit like the original fabric that came with the pergola when I purchased it however it is a cheaper material. It do w the job though. It provides shade and covers. The material is a bit more see through than I expected it to be. It also fit small than the dimensions said ( by a few inches). Struggled to make it fit.

I am so thankful I took a chance and ordered this replacement canopy. I have been searching for a replacement canopy for the 10 x 8 Pergola I purchased at Kmart a few years ago. For the record, my pergola is indicated on the Kmart/Sears website as: Garden Oasis Golden Meadow 10 x 8 Pergola. Sold by Sears and Kmart starting in 2017 as Item# 07156671000P Model# L-PG080PST-R Pergola Specifications: Length: 120 Width (in) 95.8 Base Size 10 ft x 8 ft Height 93.7 Clearance 87. I attempted to order the replacement canopy from Garden Winds (Replacement Canopy for Golden Meadow Pergola - Riplock 350) but after having my order delayed for the 3rd time (I ordered in April 2022 and now they pushed my order again and are now giving me a date of Sept 2022- it was originally June 2022) I came back to Amazon and searched again. This looked like it would fit so I took a chance. I installed it today and it is a perfect replacement! I unscrewed a couple of Phillips screws on each side of the cross bars (Necessary in order to slip the canopy edge into the bar) dragged it over the top straightened it out and inserted the opposite end into the bar. It took less than 15 min in the summer heat. I can't speak for the durability of the material. It seems good enough, especially for the price. It provides the shade I need and I am not overly concerned with the water-repellent aspects of it. Although I did hose everything down and it seemed to hold up and block out the water from the top. The original canopy that came with the pergola lasted a little over a year and a half in the So. Cal sun so I guess I am not expecting much from this replacement. If I have to replace again next year I would be ok with that. I am actually ordering another backup now. The frame is holding up nicely so replacing the canopy (now that I found one) is a small price to pay. I am SO happy to have my pergola back. Now it is time for some BBQ and whiskey. I am a happy girl. Note: the pictures are of the replacement canopy (not the original canopy that came with the pergola). As you can see the "Universal Doubleton Steel Pergola Replacement Cover for Pergola Structures L-PG080PST" fits perfectly.
