Size was right. The quality of the materiel is resistant but faded quicky under the sun. I had the red one. The side exposed turned pink after 1 summer.

I had a few questions about fit and color sustainability and the supervisor called me and settled my concerns. One of the best customer service experience I have had in a very long time. Lately it seems some companies have forgotten what that means. BTW beautiful cover.

Very happy with this purchase. It does a good job providing shade. I just wished it had small holes that slowly allowed for drainage. I have to get a broom and push the water off of the pergola because the canopy holds water.

This replacement canopy is beautiful. The color is rich and vibrant and the material hangs perfectly on my metal pergola. I like that it has ties, but I recommend using weighted rods in the pockets. This is the best quality replacement canopy I’ve purchased so far. It is waterproof so when it rains, you’ll have to use a broom handle to push the rain out of it. It’s very thick and blocks the sun completely so it makes my deck very comfortable to sit in on a hot and sunny day. Very happy with this purchase.

Works perfectly for providing shade on my pergola. Stayed intact through a literal tornado and baseball sized hail in Ohio. Doesn't drain water at all but easy to use a broom to push the water off. I'd buy again and the burgundy color is very pretty.

This works great. It keeps the heat and rain out. However you need to use a broom and knock off the water after a rain as it will sag a bit between rafters. The only disappointment we have is after 6 weeksthe top has faded a lot.

The seller was very responsive to my needs. The product is the exact colour, size and durability that I needed for my garden makeover, looks great on my pergola. I would buy from this vendor again.

READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY. This cover would be fine if I still lived in California. But in Oregon, where it rains constantly in the fall winter, this has been the biggest waste of money. I wanted something waterproof so I could still sit outside in the rain, but this cover collects ENORMOUS pools of water in between the slats of the pergola and I have to push it out with a broom at least twice daily right now. The pools are so big they'd never evaporate in a single day, and as they sit there, they leak through the fabric. When I push it out the water splashes down forcefully and gets me soaked and the side of my house covered in mud. I wish I had saved the hundred bucks to put toward an actual proper rain proof pergola cover. When I messaged customer service, the only response was that I'd have to push it out or remove the cover. WHICH KIND OF DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING A COVER.. I thought bc it was advertised as waterproof it would be okay in normal not too heavy rains, but it's definitely not. This is a decent cover for protection from sun (if it's facing the right direction) and maybe light drizzles, but wholly impractical and practically useless for actual rain.

We are happy with this cover. For the price point that this is at I think it's a very good deal. Definitely waterproof. The water pockets on the top so you do need to push it off after it rains. We've had very few days of rain in NE WI so far this year but when it rains we get a lot. My furniture cushions are dry under the pergola, so the cover works. We have had a lot of wind and so far the ties are holding and don't seem to be tearing.Again, for the price I am very happy with the cover. I actually like it better then the original cover that came with the pergola. It is a cleaner, nicer look.

Stunningly beautiful and very durable and well made. Love the colours. Bought 2 - 8x12 for my 8x8 pergolas and just had to replace the orig 8x16 brand new canopy as it was only water resistant. These ARE waterproof wheras the originals were not. In order to support rain we picked up 2 4x8 sheets of corrugated plastic just for added protectection from rain bagging. See another post. We live on VI with lots of rain. This makes it much more manageable than trying to pull the canopies on and off before a rain storm.

7/7 water proof update. Now that I've had it up for a while and weathered a few storms i would say it is not waterPROOF, rather it is water resistant. Like a tent, where the water pools it eventually leaks through. The ties sewn on the sides have stayed intacted even after several very windy days.I am still very pleased and would recommend this!Update: as you can see from the pics I've got it up and I'm loving it. The color is a golden color and because it is water proof (has a rubber treated feeling to the material) it is thick and does a very good job shading. We have only had a light rain so far and its has been water proof. I also treat all my outdoor fabrics with a uv and waterproofing solution but I really feel this would not have needed it. You will need to poke the puddles that form like you do when water collects on a tent roof. All in all I am very pleased and hight recommend!Previous review; I like the material, sturdy feeling without being super thick and stiff. It is winter here so I won't be installing to right now so I cannot attest to its waterproofness. I also plan on using waterproofing liquid on it that I use for all my outdoor materials. It is a bit shorter,15'8" than the advertised 16 ft. The company is really responsive.

I purchased this cover for my pergola on my patio. I ended up poking holes in it to use cable ties to attach it because it was windy when it installed it and it was flying up. This worked and it held well. However, my pergola has horizontal crossbars at the top and when it rained, the canopy sagged heavily with water between the bars and cracked two of the bars. Luckily I was home and heard the noise so I went out to investigate. I ended up in the rain poking holes in it to allow it to drain. I gave three stars because it’s a sturdy material that does what it is intended for but if you don’t have a slanted top, there will be drainage issues. I also felt there could be grommets or something other way to attach it than the ribbon ties provided that had to be threaded through the sides.
