Love this. Its functions are awesome. I can have my main PC running and connect either my laptop, iPhone or iPad. It seems to be compatible with everything I’ve tried. The switch makes it very easy to use. It is powered so will never require power from anything you plug into it. It’s definitely an excellent price and would definitely purchase again should I need to do so.

I believe getting straight to the point on reviews so here it goes.Coming from an 18-year veteran of the IT field, this little USB switcher is a solid choice for those wanting similar results as a KVM without spending hundreds of dollars.I only evaluated the performance on my personal setup which I use the switch to go between my work computer and my personal. As far as the video aspect, I have monitors with HDMI, and Display Port inputs so I just manually switch the input on my monitors. My workflow to swap between work and home PC is Push button on USB switch, push quick switch button on both monitors. That's it.Works perfectly for this setup. So, if anyone is looking for a simple solution to switch between personal and work setups you can’t go wrong with this Unitek Bi-Directional USB C Switcher.

This is a quality switch that works both ways thankfully. I have it connected to two computers currently and outputting to one display at 4K and it is working beautifully. I have tested it the other way as well to two displays and it works just fine. This is a must have for people using it for these purposes and I can recommend it.

This does exactly what I hoped it would. I have my personal laptop and my work laptop. I work from home three days a week and occasionally need to flip back and forth between devices. This switcher works perfect for that! I plug each laptop via USB-C into this switcher, and then the USB Switcher into my dock, which is connected to my 49" monitor. It works flawlessly except for one hitch...it doesn't provide sufficient power to charge my laptops. So far it hasn't really been a huge issue, because my batteries hold me long enough to get me through the day. I have a feeling as my battery life begins to dwindle, it may not hold and I'll have to plug in the actual laptop charger. But for now, this thing rocks!

The build quality is solid, with a sleek design and sturdy materials that give confidence in its durability.Setup and Purpose:While most people use this switch to toggle between two devices connected to a single monitor, I use it for a unique setup. I’ve connected this to a USB-C hub that manages several MIDI controllers and an audio interface, allowing me to seamlessly switch between using these devices on my Mac and my iPad Pro.The configuration works flawlessly after initial setup hiccups. Ordered this because it has the capacity to carry sufficient video bandwidth from my MacBook pro and Mac to my ASM. Unfortunately, I got no signal using both cables together or separately either with or without the switch powered on. But this was my bad, the description at the very bottom does say "will not support Thunderbolt" but I apparently missed the "more" button and/or did not scroll down far enough (if this was previously described because I thought I'd read it fully).The product appeared to otherwise be of good quality and likely works okay with non-Mac products. I removed 1-star because it seems 'non-Thunderbolt' would be significant to many people and should be nearer the top of the description given the proliferation of Apple products.
