Easy to hook up and worked great out of the box. Just bought it so hopefully it lasts. I did add a small piece of velcro to the bottom so it would stay in place but that was a personal preference. It does have small rubber feet at the corners but my desk is a little slick for those tiny feet...hence the velcro.

Been using this for around 6 months to connect my laptop and desktop to the same keyboard and mouse combo. It works well and I appreciate the coloring of the two “modes” so I can tell which device I’m connected to at a glance. The button is alittle bit firm to press but does stick or even really make a clicking noise. Overall it’s super easy to install and is plug and play and is powered via any USB port. I use it probably 10-15 times a day and it shows no signs of wear.Aesthetically it’s not much to look at but it’s very small and can be hidden out of sight easily. I would say it’s a good value for how simplistic it is and would purchase another if the one I have stops working.

After trying to use this device with Windows 11 with a brand new Dell XPS (i9), the device kept failing even with the new USB cable (see orig review below). This is especially the case the more windows one has open which is the whole purpose of "windows".USE DIFFERNT USB CABLES THAN THOSE SUPPLIEDI wanted to get this feedback posted as reasonably early. The USB switch worked fine for several days (connected to old HP-ENVY Windows 10, and brand new DELL XPW Windows 11). Wireless mouse dongle, wired USB 2.0 keyboard,. Separate GANA HDMI switch for monitor (has worked fine for over A year). DELL XPS did a BIOS update, and after that intermittently the USB Switch would stop working on the DELL (kept working on the HP) in Device Manager, Error Code 43. Started troubleshooting, different USB ports (still a problem), different cable, voila! I replaced the supplied cable with an ANOPE USB 3.0, and it has been working find. Switched back and forth on the cables, Supplied Cable error, ANOPE working.

I have it switching between a Raspberry Pi Zero W and a Windows 10 PC. It works quite nicely. Just make sure to use an OTG cable from the Raspberry Pi to use with this KM switch. This switch doesn't do video but if you're like me and use Displayport as well as HDMI it's not a big deal.

I bought this to share a keyboard and a mouse between a Mac laptop and an Intel NUC running Linux. Works flawlessly and took literally under a minute to hook up.
