I was very excited to find a switch for four computers for so cheap! Well, cheap it is. Only one of the HDMI ports works as expected. The resolution is all wrong on my ultrawide for the one it does work on, and now my computer is confused on what the resolution should be even with the thing unplugged. I tried different hdmi cords, and nothign worked for the other HDMI ports. Returning, as this is product is junk.

Easy to set up, and powered by USB devices plugged in to it makes it a good choice if you have more USB ports than electrical sockets. I'm using this for a mini rack, so that's me. It is a little large for a mini rack (just slightly too wide to really fit perfectly, but for an 8 port KVM with 4 USB slots I'm happy with it.

It worked great and I love that all the cables were long enough and awesome that it has a separate selection switch and the remote control

This device does not perform as promised. All I want to do is have 2 computers use the same Canon Printer. The printer performs perfectly when I connect directly by a USB cable. However, when I introduced this switching box to the circuit I receive the message "Windows does not recognize this USB device. There seems to be a problem with this switching box !!

I have three of these units and I have them daisy-chained such that I can operate 10 computers from one keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

My wife and I have our own laptops connect to the same printer for our own special print projects. This made it simple switching between computers when printing with the push of a button..Highly recommend fow those using same printer

Easy to install.HDMI connection is not maintained when switching input sources. Windows and other OS’s must rediscover and renegotiate display properties when switching back. If display is not selected for extended periods of time, PC may not recognize display when reconnected.

This is for the B09TYHP1K7 KVM Switch VGA 4 Port - VGA KVM Switch for 4 Computers. This replaced my old KVM switch which is 18 years old. This switch is much lighter and more compact with separate port cables that can be left off the unused ports. The port switching is done with a small square switch and cable. The switch has 4 membrane push buttons.I don't know about the longevity of this switch but it is easily fixed by putting 4 more heavy duty in your own enclosure,All in all it is a low cost full featured with all accessories needed to get up and running.

I bought this to have up to four computers on one monitor. I mix linux and win 10 and 11 computers. Works fine so far. I like the little remote buttons to switch between computers as well.

Build quality isn't the greatest but it does everything as you would expect. I had a windows server not detecting the usb port but after unplugging the peripheral at the KVM then plugging it back in it was detected.

Major troubleshooting tip: if your USB devices stops working, plug in another USB on the inputs or power another one up... one computer on is not enough to power all my USB devices, but 2 works.Main takeaway: it does the switching perfectly and that remote is perfect next to my mouse.I just got this and went through a full workday with it and it seems to do what I want with it and does it well... but there are a few weird stuff ranked from most annoying to least:1) The indicator light on what switch it's on is VERY unreliable. When I first plugged it in it kept telling me it's on switch 4, which has nothing plugged in (I have only 3 devices)... now it's just right.2) I did not realize this but after I turned my work laptop off... my keyboard stopped working... until I unplugged my numbers pad, that is light up... so I realized that the maximum power draw of the USB is limited... so if you notice stuff stops working... just plug in another switch because with just 2 USBs plugged in, it's enough power to power everything.
