These are the most inconsistent density cubes I have used in 27 years of teaching. The density of copper is 8.9 and one of our boxes had a copper with a 9.4!

Li trovo molto utili e ben fatti

The cubes are well made and useful when teaching density and volume. The container itself is a little flimsy around the latches and hinges since it's a thin plastic. The density of the cubes is within the margin of error for the material. The manual that comes with it seems to be a photo copy of a much older manual.

This is a nice little set of cubes to use when learning about density. It came in a blue plastic box, with individual compartments for each cube. There is a label that shows what each cube is made of. The cubes seem to be of nice quality. A good addition to our homeschool.

If you want a display piece for your mantle, this is not it. If you want mathematical perfection, try elsewhere. If you want a nice density cube set, this is it. Purchased for less than $28.

Very cool density set. All of my cubes were in good shape. I have no complaints and it's hard to extol any particular virtues here, since it is what it is—a collection of 1 in. cubes of different materials. The spec sheet it came with was interesting, and the whole thing will make a good educational piece.

These cubes are sufficient for my Science Olympiad group to use. However, the prior reviewer was spot on. The cubes are somewhat scratched and are not labeled themselves ( there is a key on the top of the box but if your students mix them up, they won't know the difference if you don't check them). The tray in which the cubes are situated is cheap and flimsy and probably will not last long. The box is also cheap and flimsy. The latch is easily broken and I believe I will also have to super glue or gorilla glue the box together in a short period of time.I guess the blocks will fulfill their purpose but if you're looking for something secure and study in which to store them, keep looking.
