These bulb holders are well made and with the screw terminals very easy to connect/disconnect. Tried them all as soon as i got them and all worked well. Even joined up in a circuit they are much more stable than the hard-to-connect conventional round variety. And if you want to fix them to a board, there are 2 countersunk screw-holes provided. Just wish i'd discovered these ages ago!

I expected to have to pay much more than this to teach series and parallel circuits. I ordered on a whim thinking it wouldn't work. But, I couldn't be more delighted. This is a functional kit that will work marvelously for middle school electricity labs.
