This 30 foot telescoping pole is awesome! It reaches to the highest points of my house. I needed it to be able to wash the windows, but also needed to knock down a hornets nest that was at the peak of the highest point of my roof. I was able to reach it easily to knock it down! (Did in the winter freezing day and was safe.) The pole requries a lot of control when fully extended. When extended to 20 feet it is very easily managed to reach windows.

I own a lot of Unger products with 2 other smaller poles, various dusting heads, and glass cleaning supplies. My home is about 35 feet tall at the peak and a I needed something to reach the cobwebs that form on the stucco using a Starmax Webster cobweb brush. Before this, I had used a 25 foot and an 8 foot pole that I put together, but this Unger pole makes it much easier. Pretty stable and not too heavy or flexible what I use if for. It does flex quite a bit at full extension but still easy to control and manage.

I bought this extendable pole to shake heavy snow off a ham radio antenna. Heavy snow collapsed one antenna and it took me weeks and over $1000 to get it fixed. Now, all I need to do is climb a short ladder and hook it on. You can buy a hook for it, or a cheap paint roller will do.The pole itself is well made and it's light enough that I can hold it extended at a 45-degree angle from the top of a ladder. The final section is a little too floppy for this use, but I don't need to extend it all the way.Photo shows the antenna being put into place. It's a MAJOR operation.

Very nice build quality. The twist lock seems to work well. Not yet sure about the unmodified RF electrical characteristics. Purchased to use for a portable HF Ham Radio Antenna Mast.

Bought this to remove the snow from my solar panels, while still on the ground, when the sun can’t seem to do it. Used it with a light weight squeegee and it worked good. What I don’t like is that to extend the lengths it uses a ratcheting twist nut that has to be loosened or tightened to hold the extra extension from collapsing back into the pole. It becomes hard to tighten or loosen it to achieve this because at times, I’m not that strong and I have to get channel locks out to loosen or tighten it.

Do not know why this item is listed several times on Amazon at different prices but this is the German made Unger 30 foot pole. The pole came packed in an Amazon box. There was no other packaging (not in plastic) and no instructions but pretty simple to figure out. It is heavy as people say. Also if you use the last thinnest pole it gets a bit wobbly but fortunately we did not need to extent the last pole to reach the top of our second story townhouse. We used it to clean cobwebs off the aluminum siding and it worked well. Our power washer did not reach it and do not own a tall ladder. No need for the ladder as this did the trick. Had to stop every ten minutes to give my arms a rest, but it was good exercise
