So useful - this telescoping pole is easy to use and makes things like dusting the ceiling a breeze. Its designed well so it stores easily and is light enough not to hurt your arms but sturdy enough to withstand a little pressure if trying to scrub a tough spot.

I’ve used this extension pole for light painting, and it gives me a good reach when standing, which feels much safer and more efficient than climbing up and down a ladder. The 1-to-3-foot range is perfect for smaller jobs where I don’t need an excessively long pole. The flip-tab locks are easy to adjust and hold securely without slipping, even when I apply some pressure. The pole comes with an industry standard 3/4" screw adapter at the end, so you can attach any compatible equipment. The lightweight aluminum design makes it comfortable to use for painting walls, especially for longer periods. It feels sturdy enough for most household tasks. I also appreciate the foam grip at the base, it keeps my hands from slipping and feels comfortable. Overall, it’s a practical pole to use with a variety of tools like paint rollers, dusters, mops, and more.

Sometimes you actually do get a really well made tool for a very reasonable price! When I purchased this short telescoping pole it was priced at $11.99 and when it arrived I was amazed at the quality for such a nominal price! I see the price is up to $15.99 and it is still a very good value at that current price. This aluminum shaft pole is light and sturdy, the locking flip tabs work flawlessly and it extends and collapses with little effort! The threaded end appears to be aluminum as well and is securely riveted on opposing sides for extra strength. The foam grip seems more than adequate in my opinion, if it were any thicker the overall diameter would become excessive for a comfortable, secure grip with a normal sized hand. The manufacturer offers a 1 year warranty but I do not believe that will be needed as this tool appears to be made to last for years with proper use.

This extension pole is a decent piece for the money asked. The foam around the handle feels thin and on the cheap side, and I wouldn't expect it to last too long, especially with any heavy use. What I really like about this extension pole is its size. Fully extended, I could paint standard height vaulted ceilings without a step ladder, though admittedly, it would be easier using one. It is light and the screw tip is solid. However, while this is decently made for the money, in my opinion it will NOT serve anything close to a commercial purpose - at least not for long. My experience with ANY plastic flip-tab locks I've ever used is that they gradually lose their locking power resulting in sliding pieces that should be solidly locked in place. Machined aluminum flip tab locks with tension screws are a different story. Once the plastic tab locks loosen a bit, the item is typically useless unless you're prepared to fix it in a permanent position by gluing, screwing, taping, etc. You'll get good, casual home use out of this pole, but don't expect it to last if used frequently and/or in heavy duty applications requiring repeated extend-lock-contract operations. You may end having to just fix it in its shortest position and use it for a short handle. You'll get your money's worth out of it, but no more. That said, for the money I can recommend it at 3.5 stars.

Exactly as described and pictured. I had concerns that a 1-3 foot pole would be of any value but the cost of longer poles is generally at least twice as much as this unit and the old wooden poles and such are sometimes more cumbersome. I found my grandmother trying to paint her living room (she is pretty short) and was using a step ladder to reach the upper sections of the wall and since the step ladder only gives about 2 foot of "lift" I thought a 1-3 foot pole may help. Well let me tell you, it does exactly that. Even though I tried to make her sit down and let me paint she felt it necessary to help instead of sit and watch. So now she is using the pole to knock out her sections of the wall without getting on a step stool or ladder and I will likely pick up another just to keep in my garage and leave this one with her. The pole is sturdy and extends easily with flip-lock levers instead of a twist compression sleeve like a pool pole that sometimes is hard to undo if it has been overly tightened. Now there is something that collapses down to 17 inches end to end. Fully extended the tip of the pole is 37 inches so I appreciate the listing of 1-3 foot is a true USABLE measurement as 36 inches of the pole is what is exposed once a paint roller is screwed onto the top. This can easily be stored anywhere including a small toolbox or easily tossed into the trunk of a small car without being in the way. For the price I am completely happy with this. It won't replace all extension poles but for use in areas within the 8-10 foot range these will be of complete help to anyone 4.5 ft tall or taller. For vaulted ceilings you will still need something larger but for that extra couple foot of reach or even hard to reach behind things this little extension pole is fully adjustable anywhere from 16 inches to 36 inches (17-37 if you include the screw tip). As far as I am concerned very well priced for the quality of product and what it is used for.
