these are great and they work. I like that they are made with natural ingredients and my cats like them.My cats are able to chew them, and they are calmer but still have energy. It helps us keep a relaxing and peaceful environment.

I was a little wary about ordering these, since they have thiamine, L-theanine and L-tryptophan, which can be strong sedatives even for humans. My cat is not anxious all the time, but he has overactive spells and anxiety about going to the vet, or getting his flea treatments. I decided to order them anyway, & gave him just a few to check his reaction. He's over 15 pounds, so I gave him four. I mixed them with some Greenies and crunchy food. The first time I fed them to him, he seemed to be attracted to the novelty of finding them in his dish. He separated the the calming chews out, raked them carefully out onto the floor, then ate them. I was surprised that he liked them that much.A second quality that was even more important was that this not cause him any gastrointestinal or other health issues. He had no side effects whatever. He slept for an extra hour that night, & he usually goes by an extremely accurate feline time clock. Afterwards, he went outside, played on the lawn, & showed no signs of feeling lethargic or otherwise impaired. After the first couple of times, though, he's gotten a bit tired of them. The chews are about the same texture as a candy gummy; soft & pliable. He eats dry food for its crunchiness & taste. My cat now mostly ignores them, and eats the crunchier dry food. So I don't know if it's a phase, or if he's ruled them out.Judging by the early success, I still have hopes that he can be persuaded to eat them when he goes to the vet. Cats are very mercurial, & a lot depends on their moods. Still, the ingredients proved they work & my cat suffered no harmful backlash, so I have to give the manufacturer credit for their claims. I'd issue one caution: start slow if your cat is small or sensitive to changes in their diets. To paraphrase the line about cars, Your Cat May Vary.

I recently adopted a kitty whose owner had passed away. I already had two cats. Blending two 14-year-olds and a 10-year-old under one roof has not been an easy task. There have been territory disputes, and arguments over lap time with me. Then there’s the fact that my male cat has just been a downright bully for the past several years. I’ve already been using plug-in calming agents for several years. I have also been using a brand of soft chews to try and keep peace in my household. Adding the third cat really pushed things over the edge. It’s been pure Haides. That was until yesterday, when I tried out this brand of soft chews called “Under The Weather”. I’m now on my second day of total peace and quiet. Let me tell you, it is pure Zen and I’m loving it. For that matter, the cats are loving it too. They are so much more relaxed. There’s no more growling and hissing when they’re near each other. Also, I don’t have to hide these soft shoes in their food. The fish flavor is much more palatable to my cats. In fact, I have to store the pouch in a plastic container to prevent them from ripping the bag and eating them all at once. I can now say I no longer have a fear of being taken away in a straight jacket. If your cat needs to chill out for any reason at all, I suggest you give these a try. It will definitely help with your sanity.

I have to admit these don't exactly smell very good. They smell different from the usual cat treats. One of my cats likes them to a point anyway, while my other cat passes them up. And she loves her treats. I got them not so much for them being treats as to try and calm my 8-month-old indoor male cat down a bit. He has too much energy all of the time. He wants to go outside incredibly bad, and he tends to get bored very easily. So, he tends to be naughty often. One thing, however, that he just can't do is chase my older cat every time she turns her back to him. I have tried everything and nothing affects him and calms him down. And after trying these unfortunately I didn't see any difference in him. So, another one was marked off the list. I will try again and again of course until they are gone. I have hope. Maybe I'll notice something some other day. I have my fingers crossed.

I know cats are picky, so I have been trying different treats that they might like including anti-anxiety treats. They usually lick the treats and don't actually eat them. This one for some reason, they didn't like the smell I guess. :(
