The first few caps came out easy to separate and mix with the food. After that they came out with impossible to separate or just solid paste, impossible to use. I won't do this again!

These are very tiny capsules, which is nice if you can give your cats pills. I can't, so I just opened them and dumped them into their dinner; these are very easy to open, which made the process quite painless. Both of my cats have been having stress-related mystery gut issues for about a year now, so I was hoping this would help.I didn't notice much if any improvement, so I'll be sticking with my current probiotic (Fera brand — it has the same strain just less of it and includes others, too) due to the price. This is a two-month supply for one cat, but only a month for two, and I can't afford almost $50 every month just on probiotics! I think if this is something your cat needs vs. expensive medication, or something used intermittently for occasional issues, it would be worth it, but for myself (i.e. my cats) I would've had to have seen more noticeable results (vs. *maybe* it *might* have helped a *little*) to justify the cost.

I have 2 kittens that I've raised from the time they were born. They've always had digestive issues. One of them has consistently had diarrhea for a while now. I've tried MANY digestive supplements including a probiotic that the vet recommended, but everything I tried had limited results. I've been giving them Kitty Biome for a few weeks (inconsistently) and no more diarrhea! I've been giving it to both of them because, even though only one of them has been having diarrhea, they have have really smelly poops and gas. So neither of them are having diarrhea, and their poop doesn't smell as bad as it used to. I'm using a lot less litter box deodorizer. And they seem to be feeling fine because they have a lot of energy.

This stuff absolutely works for my cat. He has some GI issues and gets diarrhea occasionally and this has helped give him solid poops. If I open one of these capsules and mix it into food or on a spoon with some liquid/creamy treat, he has no issues eating it. I haven't tried to make him swallow one of the capsules because that would just end up being overall traumatic for him. He does eat it though when it's mixed in with something. Like all vitamins, supplements, and medications- they will always affect each animal or human differently. This has been my personal experience. It's overall a really good product and has worked well in tandem with other probiotics that my cat takes.The only negative thing I can say about this is that $45 is a bit expensive in my honest opinion. I think if this product was priced more around $29, I would probably be apt to purchasing it again.

I have a cat that has chronic diarrhea. I've tried giving her pro-biotics and other stool hardeners but with not much success. I decided to give this a try because it contained Phages, which the other probiotics I used did not have. I've been giving it to her for just over 3 weeks now and have noticed some improvement. Her stool is still not quite solid, but at least it has some form. I will continue to give it to her to see what happens.What I like about this is that it is so easy to administer. I started by mixing it with her wet food, but eventually I just sprinkled it on top. She seems to like the flavor and licks it up. I like that they come in capsules. I simply take them apart and sprinkle the powder. It's more convenient than having to use a scoop to dish out the powdered probiotic and it also ensures that you always have correct dose. I looked up the manufacturer's website and they seem to have done quite a bit of research on this area.

I don't want to reduce the star rating for this product, as it might be great for an animal who needs some microbiome adjustment. My poor kitty was adopted as a barn cat. Turns out, she was unadoptable to a regular home because she has chronic diarrhea. (however you spell that).Our vet has tried several things that didn't work, including worming (she had hook worms), antibiotics, and even steroids. She said that this product couldn't hurt to try. Sadly, Ellie Mae is just tooting all over the house. Hoping she just goes back outside when it gets warm.Product comes in pills that you can pull apart and spread the power on canned food. She seems to eat it fine.

These have helped on gut regulation for 2 of the girlfriend's pets. The ladies (the furry children, not the girlfriend) were having some diarrhea & 1 additionally vomiting. This has helped them get more regular & shown a bit of improvement. Just make sure to open up the capsule & mix the contents with food. Not all animals want to eat a capsule/pill.The main negative is that it's on the pricey side, but that's hardly a negative of it works.It works...what more do you want or expect?

Please do not give this to catsThe label clearly states this product is to be used for dogs only & the dosage stated is for dogs as well- no mention of cats or dosage for cats
