I wish I'd found these sooner! I purchased the 2-pack, and now I am going to buy 2 more! These are the best gadgets I've purchased in a long time. Easy to install, easy to add to wifi, easy to use app! Just overall simple to use - and very efficient! Perfect for programming the timer, alternating the times, and using on your phone via the app, if you forget to turn on the lamp or didn't schedule the programmer. Five Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I picked up two of these devices based on their ability to work with dual band networks to replace some older WiFi smart plugs from another vendor. Initially, the setup was quick and easy. Download the Android app, discover the plugs, configure the plugs, add UltraPro to a linked connection with Google Home, and done! The first device took all of 5 minutes start to finish. The second one however was much more of a challenge, but not because of the plug itself, but because of my WiFi.My WiFi is powered by an Asus ZenMax WiFi mesh router with a single satellite router to connect the other end of the house from the main router. I configured both plugs in my front room (closest to the main router) and they both worked fine. Moved one plug to it's permanent home (even closer to the main router) and it worked fine. The second plug was to be furthest from the main router, but very close to the satellite router. Best I can figure is that the satellite router, despite broadcasting both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless bands, was broadcasting something just different enough that I could not utilize the plug in the location I wanted to with the wireless being setup as is.My solution was to enable a Guest WiFi network which only broadcasted at 2.4Ghz, connect my phone to that network, go into the UltraPro app and then I was finally able to add and configure the second plug in the location where it was to stay. It functions correctly through both the app on my phone over the 5Ghz network as well as through my Google Home. While annoying, I do not place blame on the smart plug. This was a challenge with my particular WiFi setup. Hopefully this will help others in the future. We plan to pick up a couple more as well.

Overall, this meets my needsThe included instructions are poorly written and confusing, but the youtube video is clearer; watch what to do, and how long to press the buttons (they are somewhat timing sensitive). Then write some notes.Web pages and PDFs are cheap, "Honeywell" Jasco ---- a well-written twenty page manual (online) with a dozen usage examples would save even more confusion. Test the instructions on many users - learn what they need to know, not what you feel like saying. For the cost of a few dozen free samples to volunteers who make phone videos of their fumblings, you can perfect your instructions, increase sales, reduce returns, and improve your reputation and Amazon product ratings. That said, the interface accomplishes a lot with a few buttons, once you learn how to use them. The unit contains a battery, and batteries do not last forever. The warranty is two years. Take notes (including programming times); if the unit lasts a couple of years, you probably got your money's worth, and will buy another. But you don't want to spend time remembering how to program the replacement.Batteries in landfills are a no-no. There are no instructions for proper disposal. When this unit fails, I can probably crack it open, remove the battery, and recycle it with my other batteries. I don't want to reuse the unit after opening it, that would be a safety hazard. The unit is quite small, and the lettering is as well. I'm nearsighted, so I can look close, but older people with presbyopia, or farsighted, might need a magnifier. Small is my preference; I can fit two side by side on a power strip or wall plate. This is a two-terminal unit with polarized plug - if this feeds a three prong plug, you will need a three prong to two prong adapter, with a long enough ground tail that you can reach the grounding screw on the wall plate some distance away.My application is unusual: I sometimes forget to take my morning or evening pills, and I take too many to fit most pill reminder boxes. I don't want a reminder that makes noise, and I prefer enough indication light so that I can see it from 20 feet away. So I use these to drive small, low power colored light bulbs vonnected through small "lamp socket to plug" adapters ("Comyan E26", also purchased from Amazon). My schedule is chaotic, so I set each one to go on and off for two differnt six hour intervals around the recommended pill time. After I take my pills, I push the button to turn out the light. It will come back on the next day. When I get older, I will probably take pills four times a day, so I can use all four intervals on two timers. For now, a different colored light for each different pill interval makes an easier reminder.Living 24x7 indoors during the Covid pandemic isn't easy. Every day is "blursday". Timed lights improve discipline and remove some of the blur. Well worth the small expense.

I used these timers to turn Christmas trees on and off. They work great and are small. The instructions however were written by people not clear enough to write instructions for IKEA. After some digging on the internet I finally found clarity and turns out they are simple to operate. Go ahead and buy this timer. Don't read the instructions. Made in China.

I trust Honeywell products. This indoor plug is fantastic. I use it for grow lights I have. Hasn’t failed on me. It can be used for anything you want to come on and off. Programming is fairly easy. Just remember it’s two prong plug, if you have 3 prong device you won’t be able to hook it up to this.

I posted a question that never got answered, and Amazon does not let you answer your own questions, so I'll answer it in this review:Q: Does the ON/OFF switch let you force the outlet both ON and OFF at any given time?A: Yes, sort of. If neither timer is programmed, then pushing the ON/OFF button functions as a pure ON/OFF switch. However if one or both timers are programmed (which is kind of the point of this device), then the ON/OFF button only overrides the state until the next timer program and then normal operation resumes. This is similar to how most home thermostats work. So for example, if a timer program is running and the outlet is ON, then the ON/OFF switch will turn the outlet OFF and it will remain off through the end of the current program but then when the next timer program begins the outlet will turn ON again (this may be the same timer program on the next day if only one timer is programmed). Conversely, if the outlet is in the OFF state, then the ON/OFF switch will turn it ON, and it will remain on until the next timer program and then it will be ON for the duration of that program and finally turn OFF at the end of that program. Hope that makes sense, it's kind of weird. In some cases it's really useful, but I kind of wish there was also a pure ON/AUTO/OFF mechanical switch on it.
