I bought the kid sized U-Lace for my daughter since she still struggles with how to properly tie her shoelaces. Upon receiving my item, I followed the instructions and my daughter tried on her shoes. Her heel kept coming up out of the shoe and she didn’t have this issue when using a regular shoelace. The U-Lace kids size seems to not be a snug fit for her, even after I tried to adjust it by doing a cross-cross style of lacing. I wish the U-Lace offered a way to make the fit more snug. I bought the correct size, the kid’s size. I was unfortunately underwhelmed with this product. I will have to purchase a different brand of “no-tie shoelaces” until I find one that works.

This product works great and was easy to install. My 5 year old son was able to take on and off his sneakers by himself with no problems. This product was also a Shark Tank winner.Instead of an entire lace, you have a piece with 2 ends for each set of eyelets with tabs on the end to lock them in.Highly recommend this product for little ones that have graduated out of velcro, but are not yet ready to tie their own shoes by themselves.

My son is not the best at tying shoes that will stay tied and has outgrown the no tie Nikes he likes. These are a lifesaver. A little tough to get on the first few times, but I see that as a positive since he doesn’t complain of them feeling too loose after running. Has worn several days with no complaints.

I’ve had a mixed experience with the uLace Kiddos No-Tie Shoelaces. On one hand, they’re super convenient and make getting my kid’s shoes on and off a breeze. On the other, they didn’t quite achieve the balance I was hoping for in terms of teaching independence.Pros:Super Convenient: These no-tie laces are perfect for young kids (or adults who want to skip the hassle of tying). They keep shoes snug and secure without needing any effort from your child, which is great for busy mornings or if your kid struggles with traditional laces.Elastic and Comfortable: The laces stretch comfortably, providing a secure fit without being too tight. They work well with most shoes and give a neat, clean look—perfect for sneakers or casual shoes.Durable: They held up well for about as long as the shoes did, which is a solid performance for any laces.Cons:Too Easy, Too Fast: While these laces are great for convenience, they also made it too easy for my child to avoid learning how to tie their shoes. It kind of defeated the purpose of teaching that important skill. I didn’t expect it to replace the need for learning, but I wish there was a middle ground.Limited Lifespan: Like the shoes themselves, these laces wore out after a while. They were durable for several months, but eventually, they did start to stretch out and lose their elasticity.In the end, uLace Kiddos No-Tie Shoelaces are perfect for convenience and younger kids who aren’t ready to tie their own shoes yet. Just keep in mind, they might make it a little too easy to delay that milestone. Great for now, but I’ll probably switch to regular laces when my kid is ready to learn!

These are for my 10yo shoes and they work great. I've always bought in the past the rubber ones and have to change them once, twice a school year because they break in half, so far these are holding up great.

Perfect for my first grader. Easy to install and the fit is perfect. I tried a magnetic set of laces, they were really hard to get the right fit on. And once I cut them they ended up being to tight and hurting his feet at the end of the day. These laces have been much easier and no pain.

We really liked these and my daughter loved the fun colors and ease of use for being to put on her own shoes for school. They stayed on while she ran and played on the playground until they didn't. The sides that kept the lace is place broke off on 1 lace 2 weeks into use and has happened 3 more times. They can no longer be used in her shoes. We really liked them while they lasted. I wish they lasted longer than this for the price.
